There is shown a reformable handle ( ) having an air pump ( ), partially surrounded by a covering ( ) so as to define a chamber ( ) which contains a mass of filler material ( ). The handle may be reformed into another configuration by a person firmly grasping the handle ( ) so as to deform the covering ( ) to conform with the person's grip and evacuating the air from within the chamber ( ). The removal of air from within the chamber causes the covering to constrict about the filler material thereby locking the filler material in place. The handle may later be reconfigured by actuating a pressure release valve ( ) which allows the return of air into the chamber. Once air is returned the filler material may be reconfigured and the pump actuated again to re-evacuate the chamber and once again reform the handle.

Reformable handle

A launcher ( ) is provided having a separation unit ( ) and a launch tube ( ) in fluid communication with the separation unit ( ). The separation unit ( ) has a pressure sensing chamber ( ) for sensing the pressure within the separation unit ( ), a separation chamber ( ) in fluid communication with the pressure sensing chamber ( ), and a combustion chamber ( ) in fluid communication with the separation chamber ( ). The combustion chamber ( ) is in fluid communication with the launch tube ( ) through opening ( ). The rocket launcher ( ) also includes a hydrogen separation circuit ( ) and an ignition circuit ( ). The hydrogen separation circuit ( ) includes a battery pack ( ) electrically coupled to a fuel cell ( ) which when powered separates water into hydrogen gas and oxygen gas. The ignition circuit ( ) includes a piezoelectric spark generator ( ) for igniting the hydrogen gas produced by the fuel cell and contained within the combustion.

A toy figurine is disclosed having a torso , a right arm , a left arm , a right leg , a left leg and a head . Each arm has a right shoulder portion ( ), an elbow portion ( ) and a wrist portion ( ). The shoulder portions are coupled to the elbow portions by upper arm pneumatic cylinders ( ). The elbow portions are coupled to the wrist portions by lower arm pneumatic cylinders ( ). A rocket ( ) is disclosed having a body ( 1) with a bay ( ) therein and hatch ( ) which is movable between a bay opened position and a bay closed position by a spring biased hinge ( ). The hatch is coupled to a two stage catch ( ). A parachute ( ) is mounted to the hatch. Upon initial movement of the rocket the hatch is partially unlatched, the upon the near completion of forward movement the latch completely releases the hatch so as to pull the parachute from the bay for deployment.

The orientation sensitive safety mechanism prevents the launching of projectiles should the launch tube be offset from a vertical orientation and depressurizes the launcher should an operator attempt to fire the launcher while in an offset orientation.

A fluid pulsator for a compressed gun (10) or water gun (30) is provided having a housing (404) with a fluid inlet (409) and a fluid outlet (410), an internal tube (405) reciprocally mounted within the housing, and a sealing member (406) reciprocally mounted to the internal tube. The housing and internal tube define a rearward fluid pressure chamber (412) and a forward fluid pressure chamber (413). The pulsator also has a variable flow fluid control valve which varies the flow of fluid passing into the forward fluid pressure chamber to regulate the action of the pulsator. The sealing member has a sealing head (431) having a first portion (432) sized and shaped to overlap the housing about the fluid outlet and a second portion sized and shaped to be received within the fluid outlet.

A fluid pulsator for a compressed gun (10) or water gun (30) is provided having a housing (604) with a fluid inlet (607) and a fluid outlet (608), an internal tube (605) reciprocally coupled to the housing, and a sealing member (606) reciprocally mounted to the internal tube. The housing and internal tube define a rearward pressure chamber (632) and a forward fluid pressure chamber (631). The fluid pulsator also has means for actuating the movement of the sealing member that can be manually manipulated to vary the actuation rate of the pulsator.

A gyroscopic figurine (10) is disclosed having a body (11) and a gyroscope (12) mounted within the body. The gyroscope (12) has a rotatable wheel (15) coupled with the shaft (23) of an electric motor (16). The shaft is oriented at an angle to the axis of rotation (21) of the gyroscope wheel to cause a slight unbalancing or wobbling effect as the wheel rotates. The body has a torso (26), a head (28), pivoting arms (29), a fixed leg (30), and a moveable leg (33). The relative positioning of the arms, legs and torso cause the figurine to become unbalanced and thus move while the gyroscope operates. The unbalancing of the gyroscopic wheel causes the figurine to vibrate and thus enhance the skating effect of the figurine upon an underlying surface.

A sound-generating unit (30) is encased within the body (20) of an article (10) which is to be launched by a burst of compressed and/or pressurized fluid (15) from a fluid launching device (11). The sound-generating unit (30) has the three main elements of a piezoelectric electromechanical transducer (32), a sound-generator electronic circuit (40), and a speaker (42). The body (20) of the article to be launched has a bore to receive the burst of fluid (15). The piezoelectric element (32) is positioned within the bore in alignment for receiving the impact of the burst of fluid (15). The piezoelectric element (32), the speaker (42) and an electrical energizer (36) are connected to the sound-generator circuit (40). Upon being impinged by a burst of fluid (15) projected into the bore of the body (20), the piezoelectric element (32) minutely deforms and generates a voltage that is processed by the sound-generator circuit (40) into a desired sound-effect signal that drives the speaker (42). A resonance chamber (31) reinforces and enhances the generated sound.
