Kiosk for processing electronic devices

Systems and methods for evaluating the physical and/or cosmetic condition of electronic devices using machine learning techniques are disclosed. In one example aspect, an example system includes a kiosk that comprises an inspection plate configured to hold an electronic device, one or more light sources arranged above the inspection plate configured to direct one or more light beams towards the electronic device, and one or more cameras configured to capture at least one image of a first side of the electronic device. The system also includes one or more processors in communication with the one or more cameras configured to extract a set of features of the electronic device and determine, via a first neural network, a condition of the electronic device based on the set of features.

Neural network based physical condition evaluation of electronic devices, and associated systems and methods

Wireless-enabled kiosk systems and associated methods for recycling and performing other processes with mobile phones and other electronic devices are described herein. In various embodiments, the present technology includes systems and methods for wirelessly connecting a consumer-operated kiosk with an electronic device to facilitate processing (e.g., purchasing) the device. In some embodiments, the present technology includes using a wireless link to identify a device, evaluate a device, resolve device issues to enable purchase of the device, locate a device, etc. Various other aspects of the present technology are described herein.

Wireless-enabled kiosk for recycling consumer devices

Software application systems and associated methods for recycling, purchasing, and/or performing other processes with mobile phones, tablet computers, laptop computers, and/or other electronic devices at a kiosk are described herein. In various embodiments, the present technology includes systems and methods associated with an electronic device to facilitate a consumer-operated kiosk processing (e.g., purchasing) the electronic device. Application for device evaluation and other processes associated with device recycling

The presently disclosed subject matter is generally directed to a holster system that allows for quick and secure release of a weapon, while also allowing attachment to a wide variety of connectors. The holster system comprises a frame that interacts with and safeguards a weapon (e.g., a gun). The frame includes a fastener band that acts as a trigger guard and releasably secures the weapon to the holster. The frame further includes a barrel plug that acts as a vertical rest and stabilizer when the weapon is holstered, keeping the weapon secured. The frame cooperates with a spacer to allow attachment to a wide variety of connectors. The holster system enables the weapon to be securely maintained when not in use, yet available if needed by the user. The holster can be configured with an ambidextrous feature, allowing both left-hand and right-hand weapon draws.

A kiosk system which is capable of maintaining kiosk devices online without physical manipulation is disclosed. The kiosk system capable of forcing a programmatic re-initialization of kiosk devices when necessary. Individual devices in the kiosk system can be initialized and re-initialized in parallel with normal operation of the kiosk system.
