Buckle

A buckle assembly that includes a male buckle component to mate with a female buckle component into a securely connected position. The male buckle component includes a main body, a mating guide beam, and one or more lateral arms coupled to the main body to deflect about a pivot point. Each of the one or more lateral arms includes a flexible lateral arm and a button. The button engages the female buckle component via a latching ledge, which defines a sloped transition from the flexible lateral arm to the button. The female buckle component includes a housing that defines a button aperture to secure the button of the male component, a disengagement aperture proximal to the button aperture, and a pocket to receive the male buckle component.

A reservoir cap closure indicator coupled to a cap comprises a body configured to move between a first position and a second position. An indicator coupled to the body indicates a position of the reservoir cap closure indicator as the body moves between the first position and the second position.

Disclosed is a buckle assembly having a female buckle component and a male buckle component. The male buckle component configured to mate with the female buckle component and comprising a main body, a mating guide beam, and one or more lateral arms coupled to the main body and configured to deflect about pivot points. Each lateral arm having a distal end configured to engage said female buckle component via a latching ledge of a button. Each lateral arm is shaped to define an effective length between the latching ledge and the pivot point that is greater than a linear distance between the latching ledge and the pivot point.

A buckle assembly is configured to securely attach to a component and may include a buckle housing and a securing member. The buckle housing may include a first connecting protuberance or first protuberance-retaining structure, and a second connecting protuberance or the second protuberance-retaining structure. The securing member may include the other of the first connecting protuberance or the first protuberance-retaining structure, and the other of the second connecting protuberance or the second protuberance-retaining structure. The first protuberance-retaining structure is configured to slidably receive the first connecting protuberance in a sliding direction. The second protuberance-retaining structure is configured to securely retain the second connecting protuberance so that the buckle housing is secured with respect to the securing member.

A zipper puller () has a one piece structure including a molded plastic body () and an integral molded looped tether (). The looped tether is molded in a first size and shape, and after molding the looped tether is permanently deformed to a second size and second shape by aligning the crystalline structure of the looped tether material.

A dampening mechanism includes a pair of coaxially aligned inner and outer components with ends disposed in telescoping relation with an interposed resilient elastomeric member comprising a monolithic polymeric structure comprising a hollow body within the end of the outer component, and receiving the end of the inner component with the body including an attachment portion secured to the outer component, and a support portion supporting the inner component. The body portion includes a plurality of equally spaced webs extending between the attachment portion and support portion. In one form, the body is generally cylindrical and disposed between the inner surface of the outer component and the outer surface of the inner component in telescoping relation and frictionally engaging the telescoping components.

Dampening mechanism for coaxially aligned relatively translatable components

A device is configured to adjustably retain at least one strap and dampen forces exerted into or by the at least one strap. The device includes a main body including at least one strap adjustment channel configured to adjustably retain the at least one strap, and at least one tensile member formed on or within the main body. The at least one tensile member is configured to flex, bend, and/or stretch in order to absorb the forces exerted into or by the at least one strap.

Web load-dampening device

A foldable attachment clip assembly including a receiving body portion having a hollow interior and a slotted opening extending along the length which receives and retains a crossbar of a stirrup connection portion. The crossbar of the stirrup connection portion is adapted for press-fit insertion through the relatively narrow width slotted opening which opens into a wider diameter retention pocket at the interior of the receiving body portion. Following attachment, the receiving body portion and the stirrup connection portion can rotate relative to one another about an axis defined generally by the crossbar within the retention pocket. Upon application of a tensioning force, the clip is substantially straightened and the receiving body pulls tight against the crossbar in a secure relation.

Foldable attachment clip

A clip assembly adapted to engage a male track member. The clip assembly includes a clamshell clamping member including a first leg and a second leg. The clip assembly further includes a female compression member adapted to fit in sliding relation at least partially about the clamshell clamping member. The female compression member is adapted to compress the first leg towards the second leg.

A two-part buckle includes a male buckle component received in a female buckle component. Lock surfaces between the male and female buckle components are provided inwardly of flexible segments of the lock arms and axially between the flexible portion of the lock arm and accessible ends of the lock arms depressed for unlatching the buckle. The lock surfaces angle toward the disengaged positions in the direction of arm movement for unlatching.
