A quick and easy bench and a hot tub cover platform. The bench top has three support braces: one left side, one center, and one right side. The bench top is hinged to a 2&#xd7;4 on a wall. There is another 2&#xd7;4 lower on the wall for the left, center, and right side braces to support the bench top. There are saddles on the bottom of the bench and a lower 2&#xd7;4 on wall for the braces to support the bench. The top of the hot tub platform consists of 5-2&#xd7;4's screwed to 4 stringers running perpendicular to the 5-2&#xd7;4's and supported on the backside by 4 vertical 2&#xd7;4's with a cross brace 2&#xd7;4 at the bottom and top. The platform is attached to the hot tub skirt by a 2&#xd7;4 screwed on the tub skirt.

The present application relates to novel HIV-1 envelope glycoproteins, which may be utilized as HIV-1 vaccine immunogens, and antigens for crystallization, electron microscopy and other biophysical, biochemical and immunological studies for the identification of broad neutralizing antibodies. The present invention encompasses the preparation and purification of immunogenic compositions, which are formulated into the vaccines of the present invention.

Stabilized viral envelope proteins and uses thereof

This invention provides a DNA which upon transcription produces an RNA encoding a modified HIV-1 gp140 polypeptide, which polypeptide upon cleavage produces a modified gp120 and a modified ectodomain of gp41 which together form a complex exhibiting enhanced binding to HIV-1 neutralizing antibodies and reduced binding to HIV-1 non-neutralizing antibodies, wherein the modifications comprise an A492C mutation in gp120 and a T596C mutation in gp41, said mutations being numbered by reference to the HIV-1 isolate JR-FL, and resulting in a disulfide bond between gp120 and ectodomain gp41 which stabilizes the otherwise non-covalent gp120-gp41 interaction.
