A closure device includes a first jaw and a second jaw. The first jaw has a first plate extending along an axial axis and at least one pair of first teeth projecting from the first plate. The second jaw has a second plate extending generally parallel to the first plate and at least one pair of second teeth projecting from the second plate. A thru-hole extends substantially perpendicularly, entirely through the second plate and a post is secured to and projects from the first plate along a longitudinal axis oriented substantially perpendicularly to the first and second plates. The post extends through the thru-hole in a rotationally fixed manner, whereby the at least one pair of first teeth face the at least one pair of second teeth.

Methods and systems for modulating intraosseous nerves (e.g., nerves within bone) are provided. For example, the methods and systems described herein may be used to modulate (e.g., denervate, ablate) basivertebral nerves within vertebrae. The modulation of the basivertebral nerves may facilitate treatment of chronic back pain. The modulation may be performed by a neuromodulation device (e.g., an energy delivery device).

Intraosseous nerve treatment

An applicator for applying a surgical clip to a patient's tissue has a frame assembly with an applicator tube having a distal end configured to releasably receive the surgical clip. The applicator has a surgical-clip opening assembly including a clip-opening trigger, a clip-opening rod disposed in the applicator tube and a clip-opening jaw. Activation of the clip-opening trigger displaces the clip-opening rod proximally opening the clip-opening jaw. A surgical-clip closing assembly has a clip-closing trigger, a clip-closing rod disposed in the applicator tube and a clip-closing beam. Activation of the clip-closing trigger displaces the clip-closing rod distally closing the clip-opening jaw. A surgical-clip ejection assembly has a clip ejection knob, a clip-ejection rod disposed in the applicator tube and a clip ejection beam. Activation of the clip-ejection knob ejects the surgical clip. The clip-opening trigger, clip-closing trigger and clip ejection knob are independently activatable.

The present disclosure pertains to ankle prostheses. In an example embodiment, the ankle prosthesis comprises an adjustable and replaceable intermediate implant that is disposed between a tibial implant and a talar implant. Method of treating an intraosseous nerve

A syringe system for harvesting, mixing and emulsifying lipoaspirate and for further harvesting stromal vascular faction of adipose tissue. Stromal vascular faction contains mesenchymal stem cells, which have medically therapeutic uses. A mixing and/or emulsifying apparatus can be reciprocated in a syringe and combined with the stopper of the syringe, so that the syringe can be multi-purpose for harvesting, mixing, emulsifying, centrifuging, and transferring. This system minimizes transfers between syringes, allowing the system to remain closed and sterile.

A device for modeling a pessary is disclosed. A matrix of individually expandable balloons are mounted around a shaft, which holds fill lines for each balloon. The balloons are expandable with fluid to a desired volume and/or pressure, according to comfort and fit determined by real-time patient feedback. The injection device includes a pump defining an injection chamber having an exit opening; an actuator; and a cable having a first end coupled to the actuator, and a second end remotely engaging the pump. The actuator remotely controls the pump by responsive movement of the cable to thereby cause injection of a fluorescent probe material from the injection chamber of the pump through the exit opening to the patient.
