The present invention relates to an infant play yard with multiple reconfigurations. The infant play yard includes a frame structure that is reconfigurable between a deployed configuration and a storage configuration. Rotatably coupled to the frame structure is a set of legs that are reconfigurable between a deployed configuration and a storage configuration. The infant play yard includes an infant play yard cover that is coupled to the frame structure, the play yard cover having an exterior and an interior. Moreover, the infant play yard further includes a sleeper insert that is removably coupleable to the frame structure. The sleeper insert, when used in conjunction with the frame structure, is disposed between the sidewalls of the play yard cover. The sleeper insert is configured with locking covers that are removably coupleable to the legs of the play yard frame. The locking covers are connected by a resilient tether so that the locking covers easily snap into the proper locking location on the legs of the play yard frame.

The present invention is directed toward a restraint system for an infant support such as a highchair. The restraint system includes a restraining member adapted to pass through an aperture formed into the infant support. The restraining member includes a stop member selectively operable to pass through the aperture. Specifically, the stop member is configured to pass through the aperture when in a first orientation relative to the slot, but cannot pass through aperture when positioned in a second (e.g., opposite) orientation relative to the slot. With this configuration, the unintended separation of the restraint system from the infant support may be prevented. Additionally, with this configuration, the accidental tightening of the shoulder straps on a restrained child by a sibling pulling on the straps from behind the seat is also prevented.

A bouncing seat for a child includes a seat support having an opening for receiving the child, a base, a post connected to and extending upwardly from the base, and first and second arms extending outwardly from a distal end of the post. The first and second arms are connected to the seat support, thereby connecting the seat support to the base. The post is aligned with the opening.

An infant support structure includes a support frame, a seat portion coupled to the support frame and configured for receiving an infant in a seated position, and a restraint assembly. The restraint assembly is coupled to the seat portion and configured to retain the infant in the seat portion. The restraint assembly includes a strap portion having a polymer coating.

The present invention discloses a child seat comprised of a seat structure and a child restraint system that allows a restraint to be easily removed from the seat structure and cleaned separately and away from the child seat. The restraint system includes a restraint and a restraint release mechanism.

The infant product of the invention is of the type having an infant receptacle suspended from a frame. The infant product is foldable between a deployed position for use and a compact configuration for shipping and storage. In the assembled configuration, the infant receptacle is convertible between a bassinet configuration in which the infant receptacle has a substantially planar support surface and an infant seat configuration in which the support surface of the infant receptacle is partially titled or disposed at an angle such that the infant can be supported in an elevated or seated position. The infant product may include a fabric canopy incorporating floating webs and a quick connect system for securing the canopy in an open position. When the canopy is closed, it is folded so as to lie flat against the infant receptacle. The infant receptacle may also include a lateral support assembly to cradle the infant.

Infant support structure and method of using the same

The present invention provides an infant swing frame having a base, and first and second support posts. Each of the support posts is pivotally coupled at a first end thereof to the base, and each of the support posts has a second end. A cross member is coupled between the support posts. The support posts and the base are reconfigurable between a first position in which the support posts are angularly spaced from the base and a second position in which the support posts are adjacent the base.

A child's entertainment device can include a mobile/entertainment member that has a connector structure that can engage a receiving member located on a child support device. The connector structure can be formed as a button-like protuberance that engages the receiving member, which can be formed as a U-shaped aperture. The button-like protuberance is thus lockable in the U-shaped receiving member at a predetermined position while rotatable with the respect to the receiving member. In addition, the entertainment member can be removed from the receiving member by applying a force to it and moving the button-like protuberance past a slightly narrower portion and out of the U-shaped aperture. When the entertainment member is attached to the receiving member, the mobile/entertainment member and attached soft toys can spin and entertain a child. The mobile may be attached to a child support device such as a child's cradle, bassinet, swing, bouncer, or car seat, etc.
