Examples of techniques for performing a skill gap comparison between a first individual and a second individual (or group) are disclosed. In one example, a computer-implemented method includes receiving first data associated with the first individual and receiving second data associated with the second individual. The method further includes identifying preferences for performing the skill gap comparison and assigning a weight for each of a plurality of elements of the first data and the second data. The method further includes performing the skill gap comparison between the first individual and the second individual by comparing the first data to the second data. The method further includes generating a list of one or more skills for which there is a skill gap between the first individual and the second individual.

Determining gaps in data

A method includes receiving financial data for a plurality of categories associated with the user, where the plurality of categories includes financial institution obligations, financial tracking tools, and recurring and nonrecurring financial obligations. The method also includes analyzing financial data for each of the plurality of categories and generating an initial report with a first plurality of recommendations for the plurality of categories. The method also includes, responsive to determining a modification was received for the initial report, updating at least one recommendation from the first plurality of recommendations and a user profile for the user planning the absence. The method also generating a final report with a second plurality of recommendations based on the initial report with the first plurality of recommendations and the modification. The method also performing an action to address an unresolved financial obligation based on at least one recommendation from the second plurality of recommendation.

Pre-trip cognitive learning recommendation engine

A computer-implemented method includes receiving, at a gateway, a message for a recipient, responsive to the message being sent to the recipient at a first address. One or more rules are evaluated to select a preferred communication channel of the recipient, from among two or more communication channels. A channel-specific address of the recipient on the preferred communication channel is determined, where the channel-specific address differs from the first address. The message is directed, by the gateway, to the channel-specific address of the recipient to deliver the message to the recipient through the preferred communication channel.

Intelligent electronic communications across heterogeneous communication channels

In one example implementation according to embodiments of the invention, a computer-implemented method includes identifying a first discrete element of the composite object from a first image. The method further includes identifying the composite object based at least in part on the first discrete element of the composite object. The method further includes determining whether a category associated with the composite object is a category of interest. The method further includes, based at least in part on determining that the category associated with the composite object is a category of interest, increasing a discrete element count. The method further includes determining whether the discrete element count meets a threshold. The method further includes, based at least in part on determining that the discrete element count exceeds the threshold, performing a mitigation action.
