Various projectile launching devices are disclosed herein. In one aspect, the projectile launching device includes a gas-powered projectile agitator, an anti-jam assembly, and a compressed gas canister frame positioned below a body of the device. In another embodiment, the projectile launching device includes a rear-loading hopper and a projectile agitator which is actuated by mechanical power via a linkage with a pump handle.

Compressed gas projectile launching devices

A foldable break barrel air gun that is movable from a stowed configuration to a use configuration. The foldable break barrel air gun includes a stock having a butt stock pivotally connected to a forestock in which a firing engine is located. A barrel having a muzzle end and a breech end is provided, with the barrel being pivotally connected to the forestock proximate the breech end. A cocking linkage has a first portion that is pivotally connected to the barrel and a second portion that is connected and/or engaged with the firing engine by a releasable linkage connection. With the releasable linkage connection released, the butt stock is foldable relative to the forestock, and the barrel is foldable relative to the forestock such that the butt stock is arranged in proximity to and preferably attachable to the barrel proximate to the muzzle end in the stowed configuration.

Foldable break barrel airgun

A paintball marker with a barrel having a bore dimensioned to receive a frangible projectile. The marker has a receiver defining an interior cavity with a breech area. The receiver includes a flip top portion that is, in some embodiments, pivotally connected to the receiver. The flip top portion is configured to pivot between an open position that provides access to the interior cavity and a closed position that blocks access to the interior cavity. A valve arrangement is provided to selectively allow flow between a supply of compressed gas and the breech area to propel frangible projectiles through the barrel. The marker has a firing assembly configured to actuate the valve arrangement in response to actuation of a trigger.

A paintball gun comprises: a body defining a gas storage chamber for connection to a source of pressurized gas, a breech into which paintballs can be loaded, and a hammer chamber; a bolt slidable in the breech and having a bolt inlet port; a hammer slidable in the hammer chamber and connected to the bolt; and a poppet valve comprising a valve body defining a valve inlet connected to the storage chamber, a valve outlet connected to the breech, and a blow back port connecting the inlet to the hammer chamber, and a valve member slidable in the valve body and movable between an open position, in which it allows gas to flow from the storage chamber through the valve inlet to the valve outlet, and a closed position in which it closes the valve, and a pair of magnets arranged to bias the poppet towards the closed position.

Low pressure paintball guns

A pneumatic gun firing ram for firing one or more paintballs. The paintball gun includes a body defining a bore, with the bore being in communication with a valve for selectively releasing compressed gas to fire a paintball. A piston is located within the bore, and a rod is mounted within the piston for sliding movement. A hammer is mounted on an end of the rod opposite the piston, the hammer being movable between a first position and a second position relative the piston. A clamp substantially surrounds the rod at a region adjacent the hammer, and a pneumatic valve is adapted to move the pneumatic ram from a first position in the bore at a distance from the poppet valve to a second position in the bore proximate the poppet valve. The clamp is adapted to hold the pneumatic ram in the first position until sufficient pressure has built up to cause the pneumatic ram to overcome the clamp, causing the pneumatic ram to strike the poppet valve, thereby releasing the pressurized gas stream and driving the projectile from the gun.

Paintball marker

A paintball gun trigger system includes a trigger, an emitter arranged to emit light and collector arranged to receive an amount of the light that varies with the position of the trigger and produce a signal that varies with the position of the trigger. A controller is arranged to determine from the signal when the trigger has been pulled and released. In one embodiment, the light beam from the emitter is pulsed on and off and the signal from the collector is sampled at regular intervals. Variations in the pulsed collector signal are used to detect when the trigger has moved to a pulled position and a released position, and when the collector is swamped with light from another source.

A control system for a paintball marker having a breach, the control system comprising a contact sensor, a controller, and a paintball firing mechanism, the sensor being arranged to be located within the paintball marker, to sense a paintball being in contact therewith and to produce a signal indicative of the presence of the paintball within the breech, and the controller being arranged to receive the signal and to control the actuation of the firing mechanism in response to the signal.

Paintball feed system

A paintball container comprises a body and a lid . The lid is hinged to the body at one side, and has a tab at the other side to facilitate opening of the container. The body has a guard formed on it adjacent to the tab on the lid. The guard is substantially U-shaped and bounds a recess into which a user can insert their thumb to pull up the tab to release the lid. The guard prevents accidental opening of the lid, for example when the container is being removed from a harness in which it is being carried.
