Embodiments generally relate to facilitating communication in a collaboration environment. In some embodiments, a method includes receiving a message in a collaboration environment. The method further includes determining a group of users based on text in the message, where one or more key words in the text indicate the group of users. The method further includes obtaining a collaboration history associated with the group of users, where the collaboration history includes collaboration statistics. The method further includes determining a subgroup of users from the group of users based on the collaboration statistics, where the collaboration statistics indicate a level of collaboration activity that meets one or more predetermined collaboration requirements. The method further includes sending notifications to users in the subgroup of users, where the notifications invite the users of the subgroup to respond to the message.

One embodiment provides a method comprising determining a recurring event involving a first vehicle based on location information for the first vehicle over a pre-determined period of time, and determining one or more recurring vehicles for the recurring event. Merging two or more user groups for collaboration includes constructing a social graph of each user of a plurality of users within the two or more user groups based upon a user profile and a workflow associated with each user. A weighted adjacency matrix is calculated based on at least one user interaction between two or more users indicated by the social graph. A model inferring leading edge contributions and least significant edge contributions among the users is generated based upon the social graph and the weighted adjacency matrix. One or more prospective groups expected to be involved in a future collaboration are identified based upon the identified leading edge contributions and least significant edge contributions.

In embodiments, a method of the invention includes: receiving, by a computing device, indications from multiple users over time that content is of value, wherein the indications are in the form of computer-based actions from multiple user devices monitored by the computing device; dynamically generating, by the computing device, a collaborative snippet based on the indications from the multiple users, wherein the collaborative snippet is auto-tagged by the computing device with context data such that the collaborative snippet includes one or more tags; and saving, by the computing device, the collaborative snippet in a snippet database.

A method and system of adjusting a content of an electronic communication are provided. An electronic communication sent from a first entity to a second entity is received and its content determined. The electronic communication is assigned to a collaboration group based on the determined content. One or more downstream collaboration entities in the collaboration group are identified. The electronic communication is adjusted for compliance with the electronic communication parameters of the identified collaboration entities.
