A dining bib comprising a table cover approximating an individual place mat for a dining position; a bib extension of said table cover; a trough formed between a rearward side of said table cover and a lower portion of said bib extension for accumulating food or liquid debris. The trough extends downward from an upper perimeter thereof, and said table cover, bib extension and trough are formed of a water repellant fabric into a single structure. In one embodiment a drawstring closure surrounds the trough to enable closing it. A bolster disposed around the perimeter of the table cover on the left, forward, and right sides thereof forms a basin of the table cover, bib extension, and bolster in combination.

Dining bib

A pallet includes a number of runners which may be sandwiched between upper and lower face sheets of corrugated paperboard. Each runner is comprised of multiple layers of corrugated paperboard with the flutes of the corrugations oriented vertically to provide compression strength to the runners and the associated pallet. Each runner also may include at least one reinforcing insert most preferably of hardboard to provide beam strength to the runner and a band to avoid failure without a prior indication. Moreover, the system and method for manufacturing the runners with reinforcing inserts overcomes problems of delaminating and separation of the adhesively bonded layers of the runner.

Method and associated system for manufacturing reinforced paperboard pallet runners

A pallet includes a number of runners which may be sandwiched between upper and lower face sheets of corrugated paperboard. Each runner is comprised of multiple layers of corrugated paperboard with the flutes of the corrugations oriented vertically to provide compression strength to the runners and the associated pallet. Each runner also may include at least one reinforcing insert most preferably of hardboard to provide beam strength to the runner and a band to avoid failure without a prior indication. Moreover, each runner may include portals which permit four-way entry for the tines of a lift truck and inhibit tipping of the load off of the tines. As a result, the pallet offers significantly greater safety features, strength and resistence to crushing or compression than known paperboard pallet designs, avoids the significant ecological and economic drawbacks of wooden pallets and can be processed in a paperboard recycling station along with paperboard containers, boxes or the like.

Reinforced paperboard pallet and runner with portal

Reinforced, rackable and recyclable pallet and runner

A printing carrier sleeve for mounting printing plates thereon, is formed by cutting a sheet of flexible plastic material having opposite edges into a substantially rectangular shape of desired dimensions such that opposite edges are cut-away to provide complementary tabs and openings that interlock with each other, adhering printing plates on the sheet when the sheet is in a substantially flat condition, securing opposite edges of the sheet together in abutting relation so as to prevent air from passing between the opposite edges, and thereby forming the printing carrier sleeve in a cylindrical configuration, by placing a strip of tape on a forming cylinder, securing one edge of the rectangular sheet on the strip of tape on the cylinder, and wrapping the opposite edge of the sheet about the cylinder into abutting relation with the one edge to provide the interlocking arrangement.

Printing carrier sleeves and method for manufacturing the same

A load retainer for use in the void of a cargo container to resist shifting of the cargo in transit has a symmetrical load bearing surface to evenly distribute the force delivered by the cargo. In a first presently preferred embodiment, the load retainer comprises a pair of panels which are coupled together to form an H-shaped device. The panels remain parallel to each other in an expanded load retaining configuration, a collapsed storage configuration and all positions therebetween. A second presently preferred embodiment has a symmetric rectilinear network shaped configuration and includes locking tabs to releasably secure the device in that configuration and resist lateral forces in either direction.

Void filler and load retainer

A disposable container for biohazardous medical waste comprising a cylindrical, tapered body having a circular bottom attached on one end and a circular lid secured in place on an opposite end by interlocking tabs and slots. Located above the lid are handles formed integrally with the body of the container for use in transporting the container without contacting the medical waste contained therein. The lid is secured in place and cannot be deliberately or accidently removed without damaging the container. The bottom, body, and lid of the container are constructed of solid fiber paperboard which is both leak and puncture resistant and readily flammable for efficient incineration. The tapered geometry of the body permits easy stacking of the containers thereby requiring a minimal amount of storage space.
