A method is disclosed for installing and optimizing adjustable swing-weight in a vibration-damped manner inside a golf club shaft. A plug assembly of selectable weight is inserted through a circular opening in the golf grip cap with a special tool, moved to any desired location within the shaft and securely fastened in place in a vibration-damped manner by a resilient, cylindrical, radially-expandable element. At least one weight rod, made available in different materials, lengths and weights, is spaced from the shaft by one or more resilient damper sleeves to minimize shaft vibration. The expandable element is secured by a machine screw threaded into the upper end of the weight rod, and is dimensioned (unexpanded) so as to enable easy insertion and location adjustment of said plug assembly. The tool provides dual functions: as a screw head driver to expand/contract the expandable element radially by axial pressure/release as required, and as a removable coupler capable of pulling the plug assembly (with the expandable element unexpanded) upwardly, as well as pressing it downwardly within the shaft for adjustment to any desired location.

Versatile vibration-damped golf swing-weight method

A highly versatile damper-weight system enables the installation of adjustable swing-weight in a vibration-damped manner inside a golf club shaft. A plug assembly of selectable weight is inserted through a circular opening in the golf grip cap with a special tool, moved to any desired location within the shaft and securely fastened in place in a vibration-damped manner by radial expandable of a cylindrical resilient expandable element. Versatile vibration-damped golf swing-weight system

A weight device for golf clubs can be secured at a selected location within the shaft. A cylindrical weight element is typically disposed between two expansion elements, all three elements being traversed by a machine screw that engages a threaded lower end plate. The screw head is made to be engaged and driven by a special elongated tool to put the device in a sliding-friction mode for moving to any desired location within a golf club shaft, where the device can be secured in place by rotating the screw clockwise to expand the expansion elements against the shaft bore in a compression-secured mode. A permanent magnet affixed to the tool enables upward relocation or removal of the weight device.

A golf club grip of conventional appearance and resilient material is configured internally at its upper end with a specialized hole for accommodating a counter-weight assembly, extending into the upper end of the shaft, that is user-selectable from various available weights, which may be added to the counter-weight assembly and secured in place by a machine screw, which tightened in place, compresses a compliant bushing expanding it radially against the inner wall of the shaft, locking the grip and counter-weight assembly to the shaft to act as a single unit. This configuration of counter-weight assembly known as 'TOUR LOCK Technology' provides the ability to easily interchange counter-weight assemblies of different mass.

Golf club grip for accommodating selectable weight assembly

A device includes a foot-engaging element that can move in a spherical pattern and has resistance to movement generated by elastic straps. The straps can be added, changed or removed to customize the resistance to the exact pattern required to achieve maximum benefit for the user. The device does not require a user to place his or her weight on their foot to exercise, strengthen or rehabilitate an ankle. The device can be easily assembled and disassembled and transported.

Ankle exercise device

A snow blower augers snow scrapped from a path to a fan. The fan is co-axial with the auger at one end of an auger housing. A fan shaft extends through an auger tube. The fan shaft is supported on one end by a fan housing bearing attached to the housing and at the other end by a bearing in the auger tube. The auger is supported at one end by a drive housing bearing attached to the housing and at the other end by a bearing on the fan shaft. This arrangement makes it possible to have an open passage for the snow to move from the auger to the fan.

Snow blower

A microscope slide stainer includes a waste bin with an open top, and supporting notches arranged on the top edges of opposite sides. A slide supporting rack is supported in a horizontal position across the top of the bin in the supporting notches. The rack includes a pair of rails extending along a horizontal base. Brackets arranged on top of the rails define a plurality of spaced-apart slide holding positions. A hot plate is positioned between the rails and spaced above the horizontal base. A control box is attached to the hot plate for temperature control. Pins extending from opposite sides of the hot plate ride in direction-changing slots in the rails to enable the hot plate to be moved between a raised position engaged against the bottom of the slides, and a lowered position disengaged from the slides. Grooves are arranged on top surface of the hot plate to prevent the wet slides from sticking to it. A cover is removably positioned over the rack to define a heating and humidity chamber. The rack can be placed in a tilted position for rinsing the slides by inserting its ends in slanted slots extending downwardly from the supporting notches on the bin.

Microscope slide heater

A facial quality paper usable with a center feed roll dispenser. The paper has a plurality of perforations for permitting detachment of paper sections from the loose paper end of the roll. A linear density of six perforations or less per inch are formed along the detachment line to facilitate detachment of each paper section without permitting premature detachment of the paper section within the center feed roll dispenser. Alternatively, control over the separation strength is provided by one or more perforations comprising less than seventy percent of the base line. Separation control is provided by the number or perforations per linear inch, by the total ratio of perforations versus paper along the detachment base line, or by the perforation shape 1.

Centerpull paper product

An apparatus for containing and dispensing toilet paper. The apparatus holds the toilet paper roll in a stationary position as the loose paper end is pulled from the inner core of the paper roll. A housing for containing the paper roll is attached to a base, and a cover engaged with the housing compresses the paper roll against the base. This compression prevents sag of the layered toilet paper roll as the void in the paper core becomes enlarged.

Center feed toilet paper dispenser

An apparatus for clamping and holding objects, on which work is to be performed, that can be operated by downward pressure of the workman's foot. The apparatus consists essentially of two jaws in a horizontally adjacent position. The lower jaw is rigidly fixed. The upper jaw is pulled down against the lower jaw by a vertical bar that is affixed to the upper jaw. The downward force is supplied by two springs. The spring force may be overcome by exerting foot pressure downward against a lever which is pivotally affixed to the vertical bar and is pined at its mid section to a rigid bracket.

Manufacturer's third hand vice

A golf swing teaching device includes two elastic arm cuffs which are interconnected and which each fit on one of the golfer's arm between the golfer's elbow and the golfer's shoulder such that the golfer's arms are biased toward each other while executing a golf swing. An elastic hip strap is connected to the arm cuff holding the trailing swing arm and includes a clamp which is secured to a point in proximity to the golfer's hip which is on the opposite side of the golfer's body as the golfer's trailing swing arm. As the golfer executes a golf back swing, the hip strap causes the golfer's hip to be rotated in the direction of the golfer's back swing. The position of the hip strap on the golfer's hip and the length of the hip strap can be adjusted to suit different golfers and the use of different clubs by individual golfers. In accordance with the method of the present invention, the golfer first repeatedly practices the golf swing with both arms in their respective arm cuffs. After sufficient practice, the golfer's leading arm is removed from its arm cuff and practice is continued with only the golfer's trailing swing arm being placed in an arm cuff. A fastener is provided to hold the empty arm cuff next to the other arm cuff when only one arm cuff is being used.

Apparatus and method for improving a golf swing

A drawer handle can be removably mounted over a drawer front without fasteners or the like. The drawer front has a recessed region to facilitate opening the drawer, and the drawer handle can be snap-locked onto the drawer front to cover the recess and provide an optional means of opening the drawer. The drawer handle is of inverted U-shaped channel configuration including elongated front and rear flanges extending along a narrow base of the channel. The front and rear flanges can be spread apart to facilitate slipping the channel over the drawer front so the base of the channel rests on the upper edges of the drawer front, and the front and rear flanges overlie front and rear faces of the drawer front. The rear flange covers the recess in the drawer front, while the front flange is foreshortened relative to the rear flange and extends across the mid-point of the recess to provide a means for opening the drawer. A locking flange extending along the bottom edge of the rear flange projects into a slot adjacent a rear face of the drawer for snap-locking the handle into releasable engagement with the drawer front. Projecting ribs adjacent the rear face act as stops against lateral sliding movement of the handle. The front and rear flanges can be spread apart to release the locking flange from engagement with the slot so the channel can be removed from the drawer front.
