A hand-held, portable inhalator device is disclosed. The device has a mouthpiece with a chamber operatively coupled to a medication inlet and a fluid outlet. A trigger is configured to dispense medication from a medication source through the medication inlet and into the chamber after a threshold level of positive pressure is achieved within the chamber of the mouthpiece and maintained for a threshold period of time.

Inhalator device and method

A blood pressure device having a cylindrical drum cuff housing adapted to measure the circumference of either a right or left arm and administer a blood pressure test. The drum cuff housing is connected to a knuckle support assembly adapted to provide freedom of movement for postural positioning before and during the blood pressure test.

The system has a cuff that is configured to: a) be operatively situated in relationship to a person's arm; and b) strategically exert pressure on the person's arm to controllably restrict blood flow therein. An arm positioning assembly is configured to be operatively engaged by a hand on the person's arm to consistently place the person's arm in relationship to the cuff with the cuff operatively situated in relationship to the person's arm as a blood pressure measurement is taken.

A system for facilitating measurement of a person's blood pressure having: a) a cuff that is configured to: i) be operatively situated in relationship to a person's arm; and ii) strategically exert different pressure on the person's arm to controllably restrict blood flow therein; and b) a base assembly that supports the cuff. The base assembly is configured to allow selective placement of the cuff in first and second different positions relative to the person with the person in a measurement taking position. The cuff in the first position is configured to be operatively situated in relationship to the person's left arm. The cuff in the second position is configured to be operatively situated in relationship to the person's right arm.

A system for measuring percentage of body fat for a user. The system has: structure for measuring body hydration and generating a signal representing a measured hydration value; structure for selectively changing the measured hydration value to an adjusted hydration value based upon a first parameter to thereby reflect more accurately an actual hydration value for the user and generating a signal representing the adjusted hydration value; and structure for measuring body fat percentage using the signal representing: a) the measured hydration value; or b) the adjusted hydration value in the event that the structure for selectively changing the measured hydration value changes the measured hydration value based upon the first parameter.

System for measuring a user's percentage of body fat

A system for generating a signal indicative of a state of a user's body. The system has a housing assembly and first and second spaced electrodes on the housing situated so that an electrical impulse can be generated a) through the first electrode to a first user appendage in operative contact with the first electrode and b) from a second user appendage in operative contact with the second electrode to the second electrode, to thereby allow generation of a user impedance signal. The user impedance signal is useable to identify a state of a user's body. The housing has an electrically insulating barrier assembly defined between first and second discrete contours at or adjacent to which the first and second electrodes are respectively located. The insulating barrier assembly resides between first and second user appendages in operative contact with the first and second electrodes so as to block direct contact between the first and second user appendages.
