A system including a liner implement that is configured to provide a lining for at least a receptacle, the liner implement includes an upper edge component having an outer surface portion and an inner surface portion. A retention strip implement engages the upper edge component, to tighten the upper edge component around an upper opening of the receptacle. A first end segment of the retention strip implement is configured to engage the outer surface portion of the liner implement. A second end segment is configured to engage the inner surface portion of the liner implement being operable for tightening the upper edge component around an upper element of said receptacle. An adhesive free area is configured to be operable for grasping during the engagement of the second end segment adhesive with the inner surface portion of the liner implement upper edge component.

System and method for producing a liner implement

An apparatus comprises a planar member comprising a top side, a bottom side comprising a flat surface and at least one aperture comprising a defined shape. At least one alignment tab comprises a top portion, a middle portion and a bottom portion. The middle portion comprises the defined shape and is configured to move vertically within the aperture. The top portion comprises a hook structure being configured to engage the top side to limit a downward movement of the alignment tab. The bottom portion comprises a vertical facing side being configured to engage an edge of a flat material. The apparatus is operable to align the flat material relative to the planar member by engaging the edge of the flat material with the vertical facing side and a vertical movement of the alignment tab enables the planar member to rest flat on the first flat material.

Apparatus for holding and aligning a flat material

A transparent measuring apparatus for material includes a planar structure including a top surface, bottom surface, a left edge, a right edge, a top end, a bottom end and a plurality of holes for attachment of accessories. A plurality of measurement lines is formed on at least one of the top and bottom surfaces. A material alignment guide is attached to the bottom surface. The material alignment guide includes a first edge for aligning the material and is configured for moveably aligning the first edge with the measurement lines. Protrusions extend below the bottom surface a sufficient distance from the bottom surface to facilitate movement of the material alignment device. A plurality of accessories adds width to the planer structure, adds length to the planer structure, provides a safety barrier when cutting along an edge and provides a slot for guiding cutting along an edge of the planer structure.

An apparatus for preparing material pieces to be sewn together includes a planer structure including a top surface, a bottom surface, a first end and a first and second edge. The first edge includes a first lip extending a first distance below the bottom surface where an edge of the material aligns with and touches the first lip and the material can be marked along the second edge. The second edge further includes a second lip extending the first distance below the bottom surface for holding the material to a flat surface. The first end is broadened and includes a third edge at an acute angle to the second edge. The third edge includes a third lip extending the first distance below the bottom surface where the material having the acute angle aligns with and touches the third lip and the dog ear of the material can be trimmed.

Apparatus for preparing material pieces to be sewn

A transparent measuring device having a planar structure, a plurality of markings, at least one window, and a seam allowance guide. The planar structure has an upper surface and a lower surface, and the markings are formed on the lower surface of the planar structure. The markings are formed as a plurality raised ribs protruding from the lower surface of the planar structure. The raised ribs are fabricated from transparent material and so configured to induce visual graduation of light beams propagating therethrough. The seam allowance guide is removably and slidably attached to the planar structure at the window. The seam allowance guide has an upper guide bar and a lower guide bar, and the distance between the upper and lower guide bars automatically calculates a seam allowance for a desired pattern.

The transparent measuring device includes a planar structure formed from a sheet of transparent material having a top surface and a bottom surface and at least one raised rib formed of a transparent material on the top surface of the planar structure such that incident light is reflected/refracted on the raised rib to provide a visual graduation. The raised ribs include a top surface that may be colored such that the raised rib forms a dual-line graduation.

A control method and apparatus for regulating gas flow from landfill gas wells uses a differential pressure-regulating valve to maintain a set flow through a constant flow wellhead assembly. This wellhead assembly maintains a constant flow from the well despite normal variations in environmental factors affecting gas flow. The wellhead assembly includes a second valve that is used in series with the pressure-regulating valve to adjust the operating conditions of the regulating valve to keep it within its operating range. The pressure-regulating valve configuration allows a simple automatic control to position the valve. Periodic manual sampling of extracted gas and adjustment of the valve conditions is used to adjust for longer-term variations in well conditions.

Landfill gas extraction constant flow control method and device

Treatment apparatus and a process for thermal desorption of hydrocarbon contaminants from excavated soil provides efficient contaminant removal by handling the soil in a thermally conductive treatment vessel that fits within an insulated treatment chamber. The soil is treated in this chamber with fresh air that is dried and electrically heated prior to contacting the treatment vessel. The dry air passes through the soil and the air mixed with contaminants is withdrawn from the chamber through piping in the treatment vessel. Excavating the soil directly into the treatment vessel allows the treated soil to be returned to the final disposition site in the same vessel, minimizing soil handling.

In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a fabric cutting weight for holding a pattern and material to be cut in place upon a mat. The weight is provided with a first housing half. The weight is further provided with a second housing half formed to engage the first housing half. The housing halves are cooperatively formed to define a volume therebetween. The first housing half has integrally formed spikes protruding therefrom. The weight is further provided with a filler material disposed within the volume defined by the housing halves.

A non-slip sewing ruler comprising an elongate guide member including a pair of apertures disposed therein. Releasably attached to the top surface of the guide member is a handle member having a pair of pin members extending therefrom. Each of the pin members defines a pin point which is received into a respective one of the apertures when the handle member is attached to the guide member. The handle member is selectively movable between a first position wherein the pin points reside within the apertures, and a second position wherein the pin points protrude from the bottom surface of the guide member.

A system for holding a pattern and a material or fabric to be cut in place upon a mat has at least one holding means or pin weight for maintaining the positioning of the pattern relative to the material to be cut and a storage means facilitating the stacking of a plurality of the pin weights. The pin weights comprise a body, attachment means formed upon the body for attaching the body to the mat, and registration means formed upon the body to facilitate stacking of a plurality of such pin weights. The storage means comprises a plurality of posts, each post being of a different diameter to facilitate stacking of a plurality of pin weights having different sized central openings formed therethrough. Each pin weight preferably comprises a generally circular body, having a generally circular central opening formed therethrough and a plurality of pins extending downwardly therefrom. The caddy also has a holder for receiving and conveniently storing a cutter. The cutter is stored such that its handle is conveniently graspable to remove the cutter from the holder. The holder preferably orients the cutter handle at an angle of approximately forty-five degrees to the horizontal. The caddy has a base upon which the posts and holder are attachable such that the posts and holder may be removed therefrom to facilitate substantially flat packing of the caddy for storage and transportation.
