A food waste dehydrator that can efficiently collect food scraps and food waste and create an output that can be used as livestock feed, livestock feed supplement, or can be further processed into compost or soil amendment. In some embodiments, the food waste dehydrator is mobile and modular. In some embodiments, the food waste dehydrator includes a self-contained heating and energy source.

A method and apparatus for translating a first number (e.g., a number dialed by a telephone subscriber) to a second number (referred to as a routing number) is disclosed. An example of an apparatus in accordance with the present invention includes two broad functional components: 1) tables of translation information stored within a database and 2) application software. Upon receiving a query requesting the translation of a dialed number to a routing number, the application software uses information within the received query to query the tables of translation information in order to find the correct routing number. The routing number is then sent to the requester.

Method for implementing service logic via database table transversals

A method and apparatus facilitate secure communication between a controller and a signaling network. The controller generates messages corresponding to a protocol of the signaling network and wraps them in a second protocol. The wrapped message is carried via a second network to a gateway that unwraps the message and provides it to the signaling network.

Apparatus and method for providing transporting for a control signal

A collection, storage and dispensing system for shopping carts including an elongated tubular conduit sized to allow a shopping cart to rollably pass therethrough. The conduit includes a sloped first end section defining an entrance opening through which shopping carts enter the system, a generally horizontal mid section, and a sloping second end section which defines an exit opening through which shopping carts exit the system. The mid section is preferably buried below grade, but may also be elevated above a parking lot surface of a store for vehicles to drive beneath, A floor is provided within the conduit atop which shopping carts roll. An elongated slender guide engaging probe is connected to each shopping cart which both laterally guides the carts by slidably engagement into a guide channel longitudinally in the floor and is pullably engaged onto a chain-type conveyor in one end section which is upwardly sloped. The entrance opening is positioned at grade level of a store parking area while the exit opening is positioned within the store at floor level. A denester interactive with each of the probes is provided as the carts tend to wedge together. Multiple entrance openings are provided, along with an optical comparator to insure that only proper shopping carts enter the system.

Collection, storage and dispensing system for shopping carts

A versatile, adjustable storage system for fishing rods which consists of two basic components. One component comprises an extruded storage rack adapted to be mounted on a vertical surface. The rack includes an upper L-shaped flange and a lower flange which has a dovetailed channel or slot formed longitudinally therein. The other component comprises a socket member consisting of an annulus having a rearwardly extending support which terminates in a dovetailed flange. The dovetailed flange of the socket member may be slidably inserted within the longitudinal dovetailed channel of the extrusion, and a plurality of such sockets may be fitted onto a single storage rack and may be of different or common sizes for storing any desired number or type of fishing rods.

Adjustable storage system for fishing rods

A holder assembly for a fishing rod or the like, including a number of readily replaceable elements adapted to hold any standard fishing rod during actual fishing, as in trolling, and safely store the rod while cruising to and from the fishing grounds, the assembly comprising a mounting base with keyhole connecting means for quickly attaching to or detaching from a supporting surface, a tubular socket on the base, an elongated sleeve for slidably receiving and holding a fishing rod handle, and means for readily securing and detaching the sleeve to and from said socket. The substitution of another sleeve having a portion with a larger diameter enables the holding of larger and heavier fishing rods. The substitution of another mounting base having a different angular arrangement of the tubular socket renders the holder assembly readily mountable on vertical, horizontal or angled supporting surfaces of a boat and permits the changing of the angular position of the held fishing rod.
