A system for producing potable water, including a primary water harvester including a non-potable water source, gas heating chamber, wherein the gas heating chamber includes a gas directing tube having a gas located within the gas directing tube such that the gas heating chamber is used to heat the gas located within the gas directing tube, a gas mover operatively connected to the gas directing tube for moving the heated gas contained within the gas directing tube, an evaporator operatively connected at one end to the gas directing tube, wherein the heated gas located within the gas directing tube contacts non-potable from the non-potable water source such that a water vapor in the heated gas is increased, and a condenser operatively connected to the other end of the evaporator, wherein the condenser causes the water vapor to condense out of the heated gas to produce potable water. A secondary function of the system allows it to act as a concentrator for organic and inorganic components present in the non-potable water that can be considered additional resources to be recovered in addition to the potable water produced by the system.

Water harvester and purification system and method of making and using same

An optimized system creates potable water from water vapor in the atmosphere, or purifies salt water or contaminated water. The system employs a condenser having multiple metal condensation surfaces. These condensation surfaces are cooled by coolant passing through conduits attached to the condensation surfaces. The coolant is cooled by a cooling unit. Power is supplied to the cooling unit by solar photovoltaic panels, or wind turbines, or the electric grid. The system can be mobile or fixed and can produce potable water at remote locations. The system may employ an evaporator which evaporates non-potable water into an air stream. The evaporator includes a solar or gas heater which increases the temperature of the air. Metals may be extracted from the salt water. If sewage is used, solid organic waste may be processed into combustible gas which is burned by an engine running a generator to power that system.

Water harvester and purification system

A method and system is provided for performing high-resolution image assembly regardless of observed scene content. An imaging system, including a focal plane array and lenslet array can be calibrated to account for subimage shifts. A calibration module can determine the subimage shifts by calculating an average point source position reference point coordinates for each of the subimages, and then determining the difference between the average point source position and the reference point coordinates for each subimage. The imaging system can then be calibrated utilizing the subimage shifts for each of the plurality of subimages. Finally, an assembly module can perform a high-resolution image assembly with the calibrated imaging system.

Scene independent method for image formation in lenslet array imagers

A method and apparatus for the automatic generation of interface specifications includes a communications network for enabling users of the apparatus to inter-communicate and to write files to pending, reference and interface data bases. The files written to the data bases are formatted and automatically received to reduce errors in the specification data in the files. A document generator responsive to commands accesses document template files in a document template data base to prepare defined documentation reflecting the external interface specification from the files in the data bases.

Method and apparatus for automatic generation of external interface

A system and method of removing dissolved gases and volatile organic chemicals from a water supply is provided. Water is supplied under pressure to a contacting chamber in a manner wherein it causes air to be aspirated into the chamber for turbulent contacting with the water. The air and water are directed through the contacting chamber in a common axial direction. Either the water or air may be heated prior to introduction to the contacting chamber to enhance the effectiveness of the dissolved gases and volatile organic chemicals removal.
