A system and method of creating a lattice structure for a part formed via additive manufacturing. The method includes generating a finite element mesh including a first finite element, generating a first natural space data structure such that the first finite element includes the first natural space data structure, generating a first unit cell corresponding to the first finite element, and generating a first design space data structure such that the first unit cell includes the first design space data structure and the first natural space data structure. The method further includes modifying the first unit cell via the first design space data structure and modifying the first unit cell via the first natural space data structure to correspond to the modifications of the first unit cell in the first design space data structure.

System and method for creating lattice structures

A multi-layer armor plate comprises a strike plate, a structural mesh layer, an outer skin, a compliant mesh layer, and an inner skin layer. The strike plate has an outer surface and an inner surface. The structural mesh layer is positioned on the outer surface of the strike plate and includes lattice structure with a first structural compliance. The outer skin layer is positioned over the structural mesh layer. The compliant mesh layer is positioned on the inner surface and includes lattice structure with a second structural compliance that is greater than the first structural compliance. The inner skin layer is positioned over the compliant mesh layer.

A system and method for improving the production of objects with fully defined CAD models by generating CAD slice files from the native CAD geometries for use by AM machines. An electronic processing element receives the CAD model having a native and/or neutral format with metadata, determines a desired resolution, slices the CAD model to create the slice files having a slice format (e.g., point, edge, surface, volume) and retaining the metadata, and evaluates the slice files to determine whether the resolution has been achieved. If so, the slice files are sent to the AM machine. If not, a new desired resolution is determined and the CAD model is re-sliced, which may include combining the slice files to regenerate the CAD model. A support structure for the object may be analyzed, and if distortion is predicted, a modified CAD model may be created and sliced to create modified slice files.

For processing call center data, an access module receives call system data for a plurality of users. The access module further receives customer relationship management (CRM) data and receives user data for the plurality of users. A display module displays the call system data, the CRM data, and the user data in a temporal relationship for a first user as dashboard data.

A device for measuring radiation is disclosed. The device comprises optics and electronics at least partially enclosed in a housing portable by a single human being. A lawnmower comprising a chassis and a mower deck movable with respect to the chassis. A cylinder assembly is mounted to the chassis, and includes an actuating cylinder, and a piston shaft selectively extendable and retractable with respect to the cylinder under the influence of fluid pressure within the cylinder. A deck lift assembly is interconnected to the chassis and the mower deck for adjusting the height of the mower deck with respect to the chassis. The deck lift assembly includes a pivot member pivotally connected to the chassis. A jack is removably coupled to the pivot member, such that the chassis is raised and lowered in response to movement of the piston shaft with respect to the cylinder. The jack utilizes the existing hydraulic system and cylinder assembly of the lawnmower to raise the lawnmower with respect to the ground.

An interface system that facilitates user interaction with a plurality of document-management programs, each of which may require different data formats, and convenient output of data generated by such programs to recording or display devices. The invention includes a 'front end', which accepts user commands and channels them to a designated application program; and a 'back end', which converts output data into a form compatible with a selected output device or display, and which can simultaneously drive display of data from a plurality of application programs. The system operates using a common set of raster-image instructions; output and display data from an application program are converted into this common set of instructions before being provided to a selected output or display device. The system can store multiple display lists in segregated memory partitions, and then combine the lists according to a user-defined 'mapping' procedure to produce a single, integrated display.
