Various of the disclosed embodiments present depth-based user interaction systems. By anticipating various installation constraints and factors into the interface's design, various of the disclosed embodiments facilitate benefits such as complementary depth fields of view and display orientation flexibility. Some embodiments include a frame housing for the depth sensors. Within the housing, depth sensors may be affixed to a mount, such that each sensor's field of view is at a disparate angle. These disparate angles may facilitate gesture recognitions that might otherwise be difficult or impossible to achieve. When mounted in connection with a modular unit, the housing may provide a versatile means for integrating multiple module units into a composite interface.

Interactive systems for depth-based input

Various of the disclosed embodiments present depth-based user interaction systems facilitating natural and immersive user interactions. Particularly, various embodiments integrate immersive visual presentations with natural and fluid gesture motions. This integration facilitates more rapid user adoption and more precise user interactions. Some embodiments may take advantage of the particular form factors disclosed herein to accommodate user interactions. For example, dual depth sensor arrangements in a housing atop the interface's display may facilitate depth fields of view accommodating more natural gesture recognition than may be otherwise possible. In some embodiments, these gestures may be organized into a framework for universal control of the interface by the user and for application-specific control of the interface by the user.

An expansion device is provided for expanding the functionality of a mobile electronic device while in a mobile mode and/or in a desktop mode. The expansion device may be a media slice that provides multimedia functionality to a mobile electronic device. The media slice may be configured to receive an electromechanical interface from the mobile electronic device and to replicate the electromechanical interface for connecting to another expansion device, such as to a docking station or a port replicator. The expansion device and the mobile electronic device may be connected via a latch mechanism that easily couples and de-couples the devices. An expansion system is also provided that includes a support stand for providing orientation and support features for a computing device and/or an expansion device.

A system and method for dispensing pharmaceutical samples is provided. The system comprises a dispenser base, a lid, and a dispensing portion. The dispensing portion further comprises a window, finger cutouts, and a front section of a spring plate. The front section may further comprise curved portions that assist in maintaining a pharmaceutical sample within the pharmaceutical dispenser until a user intentionally removes the pharmaceutical sample. A ramp located substantially adjacent to the spring plate guides the pharmaceutical samples down a loading chamber to the dispensing portion.
