An impeller for use in a fan system includes a hub extending along an axis of rotation and having a hub outer surface. There also are a plurality of blades extending radially outwardly of the hub outer surface. The blades have a unique cross-section at several different locations that result in relatively thin blades. A fan system and method are also disclosed.

A tap off for use in a mixer comprises a pair of cylindrical portions, with a first cylindrical portion extending in a direction that will be inward toward a mixer when the tap off is mounted on a mixer. The first cylindrical portion defines a first port inlet and communicates into a second cylindrical portion. The second cylindrical portion defines a second inlet port and an outlet port for combining air from both the first inlet and the second inlet port. The first and second cylindrical portions are fixed together. A pair of diverter plates have a face for deflecting air from the second inlet port in the inward direction, and further have a leg extending from the face into the first cylindrical portion. Tabs on the face and legs of both diverter plates extend into slots in the second cylindrical portion. The tabs extends into slots in the first cylindrical portion. A mixer, and an ECS pack are also disclosed.

A wire support member for an environmental control system, the wire support member has a first bracket with inner and outer surfaces and a second bracket with inner and outer surfaces. A bracket connecter is disposed between and connects the first bracket and the second bracket. A ratio between the thickness of the first bracket and an offset between the first inner surface and the second inner surface optimizes the position of a wire harness and prevents the wire harness from contacting other surfaces within the aircraft.

Wire support member for an environmental control system

A wire support member for an environmental control system includes a bracket having an inner surface, an outer surface, and a thickness. A first arm projects from the bracket, a first flange projects from a first end of the first arm. The first flange includes a first harness support opening therethrough. A second arm also projects from the bracket parallel to the first arm, and a second flange projects from a second end of the second arm. The second flange has a second harness support opening therethrough. A ratio of a diameter of the first harness support opening and of the second harness support opening to the thickness of the bracket optimizes the routing and support for the wiring.

A wire support member for supporting the wiring of an environmental control system. The wire support member has a base edge, a first edge, and a second edge, the first and second edges form a V-shaped apex opposite the base edge. The ratios of the diameter of a first fastener opening through the wire support member to a length from the center of the first fastener opening to the first edge, and of the diameter of the first fastener opening to a length from the center of the first fastener opening to the second edge optimize the routing and support for the wiring.

A cabin supply bracket for a cabin supply duct assembly is provided. The cabin supply bracket includes a base plate with a first, second, and third mounting hole distributed in a substantially triangular arrangement. The first mounting hole has a centerline defined therethrough. A coupling socket extends from the base plate. The coupling socket includes a first and second tie rod coupling support having a tie rod coupling hole formed therethrough and a first and second outer edge. The first outer edge is proximate the second mounting hole, and the second outer edge is proximate the third mounting hole. The coupling socket has a socket width defined between a first socket edge proximate the first outer edge and a second socket edge proximate the second outer edge. A ratio of the socket width to a thickness of the base plate is between 6.31 and 7.84.
