A system and method for generating a secure digital copy of content associated with a non-fungible token (NFT). The system may include, be part of, or be in communication with a print device. The system will receive, from a requesting entity, a print request to print digital content that is associated with an NFT. The system will then access a user profile of the requesting entity to identify a digital wallet associated with the requesting entity. The system will determine whether the digital wallet indicates that the requesting entity owns the NFT. In response to determining that the digital wallet indicates that the requesting entity owns the NFT, the system will generate a print job that comprises a set of instructions to print the digital content, optionally with a verification code. The system may then cause the print device to print the digital content.

Disclosed herein is a substrate cooling unit for use with a duplex aqueous ink jet image forming device. The substrate cooling unit including a first cooling roll. a first transport belt, a second cooling roll positioned downstream of the first cooling roll in a process direction and a second transport belt. The first and second transports belts include a bottom layer of a fiber mesh impregnated with a polydimethylsiloxane, where the fiber mesh is selected from cotton, polyester, and nylon. The first and second transport belts include an optional intermediate adhesive layer and an optional top layer of silicone having an extractable level of less than 4 percent. The substrate cooling unit includes an invertor.

The printing system comprises an airflow control device comprising one or more dampers that are moveable in a cross-process direction between an undeployed configuration and a deployed configuration, each damper blocking at least one row of the holes in the deployed configuration. The airflow control device also comprises one or more actuators to move the damper(s). The actuator(s) are controlled to selectively move the damper(s) between the undeployed and deployed configuration based on a position of an inter-media zone between adjacent print media held against the movable support surface.

The substrate cooling unit includes a first transport belt that is in contact with a portion of an outer surface of the first cooling roll to substantially sandwich individual sheets of image receiving media between a first cooling roll and the first transport belt. The substrate cooling unit includes a second cooling roll positioned downstream of the first cooling roll in a process direction and a second transport belt that is in contact with a portion of an outer surface of the second cooling roll to substantially sandwich the individual sheets of image receiving media between the second cooling roll and the second transport belt. The second transport belt includes a bottom layer of woven or non-woven fibers and a top rubber layer.

An aqueous ink printer is operated to insert media sheets from a first supply tray into a plurality of media sheets from a second tray on which ink images are being formed by the printer to absorb condensed vapors on media guides. The media sheets from the first tray are uncoated media and the media sheets from the second tray are coated media. In some embodiments, the inserted media sheets are printed with an ink image that has areas that contact the media guides with a greater ink density than other areas of the ink image that do not contact the media guides. Additionally or alternatively, the inserted media sheets are printed with an ink image that has areas that contact the media guides with an ink color that is different than an ink color used in other areas of the ink image that do not contact the media guides.

System and method for removing ink solvent and water vapors in aqueous ink printers

An inkjet printer includes a dryer configured to attenuate cockle in the substrates under the heater of the dryer and reduce ink transfer from ink images during duplex printing without adversely affecting the cooling of the substrates exiting the dryer. The dryer has at least two plenums with at least one plenum opposite a heater and at least one plenum opposite an air vent. A platen covers the plenum opposite the air vent and the platen has a plurality of protuberances arranged in a non-linear arrangement so the protuberances contact substrates being carried by a plurality of endless belts over the plenum to prevent the substrates from contacting a surface of the platen. Another platen covers the plenum opposite the heater and this platen has non-linear members on its surface to support the substrates and reduce cockle while the ink is dried by the heater.
