Implementations of the present disclosure are directed to turbine assemblies for turbocharger systems. In some implementations, turbine housings include a body that defines an inlet for fluid communication with a fluid source, and a wall, the wall dividing the inlet into an inner inlet and an outer inlet, and a fluid guide assembly disposed within the housing, the fluid guide assembly including a plurality of vanes that demarcate an inner volute and an outer volute within the housing, the inner volute being in fluid communication with the inner inlet and the outer volute being in fluid communication with the outer inlet, each vane of the plurality of vanes being fixed at a respective angle relative to a radial direction, the plurality of vanes guiding fluid flow from the outer volute to the inner volute.

Double flow turbine housing turbocharger

A variable geometry turbocharger is simplified yet able to maintain pulse energy. In a first embodiment, a turbine housing is provided with a pivoting wall which pivots about a point near the entry to the turbine housing. By moving the wall about the pivot point, the effective volume of the turbine housing volute is varied, thus effectively reducing the volume of exhaust gas in the volute, allowing control of exhaust gas flowing to the turbine wheel. In the second embodiment of the invention, a rotating wedge segment within the volute is rotated from a first position to a second position, changing the effective volume of the volute and allowing control of exhaust gas flowing to the turbine wheel.

Simplified variable geometry turbocharger with variable flow volumes

A valve actuator assembly for actuating a valve, the valve having a longitudinal axis includes an electrohydraulic actuator being displaced a lateral distance from the valve longitudinal axis, and a rocker arm being rotatable about a hinge point, a first arm portion extending from the hinge point to a proximal end and a second arm portion extending from the hinge point to a distal end, the proximal end being operably coupled to the second stage piston and the distal end being operably coupled to the valve, the fist arm portion being shorter than the second arm portion, the rocker arm spanning the lateral distance. A method of stroke amplification is further included.

This new variety is unique from its parents and other prune plums because it is has a freestone, non-shattering stone and flesh which processes very well yielding highly colored, high quality plum products. It is also more vigorous and pest tolerant than other commercial prune plum varieties grown at this time.

In accordance with illustrative embodiments of the present invention, a gate latch apparatus includes a frame having spaced side members, a ring pivotally mounted between the side members, and means to limit outward swinging of the ring. A support rigidly secured with respect to the frame has a horizontal portion and an inclined portion to aid the user in positioning a latch bar on the horizontal portion where operation of the latch is assured. The bar causes the ring to swing inwardly during closure, and the ring drops downward upon passage of the bar to latch the gate closed. To release the latch, the ring is lifted to enable the bar to be removed from the support.

Gravity-operated gate latch apparatus

A new and distinct variety of grapevine named `Melody`, and tested as NY 65.444.4, which originated from seed produced by a hand pollinated cross of `Seyval` (non-patented) and GW5 from New York (non-patented) is described. This new variety can be distinguished by its vinifera-type wine with varietal character, its resistance to powdery mildew infection and its adaptation to the climate of the grape growing regions of New York.

Grapevine, 'Melody', NY 65.444.4

A new and distinct variety of grapevine from an interspecific cross (Labruscana.times.vinifera), named `Einset Seedless` and tested as NY 63.878.1 which originated from a seed produced by hand pollination of `Fredonia` (non-patented) with pollen from `Canner` (non-patented) is described. This new grapevine variety can be distinguished by its early maturing seedless fruit of attractive red color, having a unique mild American flavor, firm texture and adherent skin. Winter hardiness is good and storage life is considered to be excellent.

The present invention relates to improvements on an 'inertia' type pumping system (actually using kinetic energy) including elimination of springs in the valves, include pressure dampening or cushioning means for dampening sharp liquid pressure rises inherent in an inertia type pump, and discharge of pumped fluid directly into a tank rather than through a circulation pump of the system, all of which results in longer pump life, less down time for repairs, smoother, quieter and more efficient operation, and avoids shutdown of the inertia pumping system by eliminating gas entering the circulation pump when pumping oil having entrained gas from a formation.
