A system is described to create customized unique identification (UID) codes combined with customized printable optical or NFC sensors and to combine these unique sensors and unique IDs with unique environmental events, traceability, unique data from cell phones (including geolocation) and person-specific unique indicators such as biomarkers to create completely unique, low cost and proprietary printable genomic and environmental blockchain sensor networks for the Internet of Things (IoT), counterfeit identification, healthcare, pharmaceutical applications and small payment transactions worldwide.

Genomic and environmental blockchain sensors

An integrated passive wireless chip diagnostic sensor system is described that can be interrogated remotely with a wireless device such as a modified cell phone incorporating multi-protocol RFID reader capabilities (such as the emerging Gen-2 standard) or Bluetooth, providing universal easy to use, low cost and immediate quantitative analyzes, geolocation and sensor networking capabilities to users of the technology. The present invention can be integrated into various diagnostic platforms and is applicable for use with low power sensors such as thin films, MEMS, electrochemical, thermal, resistive, nano or microfluidic sensor technologies. Diagnostic radio frequency identification sensors and applications thereof

Embodiments of a compartment monitor that can be implanted and left in situ to continuously (or semi-continuously) measure compartment pressures are presented. An exemplary monitor includes a pressure sensor adapted to be implanted in a compartment, a transmitter external to the compartment and coupled to the pressure sensor, and a receiver in communication with the transmitter to receive and process pressure data received from the transmitter. The monitor may also be configured to transmit measured pressure data to a networkable device. The networkable device can then communicate the patient's status and condition to a healthcare provider through a local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN). This communication allows the healthcare provider to remotely monitor a patient. The networkable device, or associated computing system, can record and display trends in the pressure data over time, and log the data to the patient's electronic health records.

The present invention is related to a means for detecting external threats by the use of methods and apparatuses for the wide area detection of chemical, radiological or biological threats using modified personal wireless devices combined with new advanced micro and nanosensor technologies. A cost effective method is provided for wide area surveillance of a potential terrorist or personal threat. Personal electronic devices such as mobile phones, PDAs or watches, in combination with new microsensor technologies described herein, can be used as a new type of platform detection technology for wide area surveillance of major threats. A 'Homeland Security' chip is further provided which combines the elements of geo-location, remote wireless communication and sensing into a single chip. The personal electronic devices can be further equipped for detecting various medically related threats. Method and apparatus for wide area surveillance of a terrorist or personal threat

An RF addressable sensor network architecture is provided. The RF addressable sensor network includes one or more RF addressable sensors, one or more wireless sensor readers coupled to a communications network, and one or more end user devices coupled to the communications network. The RF addressable sensor network may also include a sensor network processor. An RF addressable sensor includes one or more sensor elements, one or more antennas for communicating with the wireless sensor reader, an RF power and communications interface, and RFID control module, and a sensor interface. The wireless sensor reader includes one or more antennas, a user interface, a controller, a network communications module, and an RF addressable sensor logic module.

Microfluidics apparatus and methods for use thereof

A method for discovering proteins and protein geometries, and a method for conducting whole proteome assays on a single test surface are disclosed. A test surface is provided featuring a surface containing a random distribution of randomly shaped features of a size from 10 meters to 10 meters in width, height, depth, and spacing. A sample containing proteins is provided to interact with the test surface long enough for protein molecules to locate and adsorb to complementary sites on the test surface. Unadsorbed proteins are washed away. Protein adsorption sites are then discovered using a means such as an atomic force microscope (AFM) to identify locations where proteins are adsorbed to the surface. The topology of the protein adsorption sites is precisely measured using an AFM. Protein surface topology is deduced by determining the complementary surface to the protein adsorption sites. A device that is diagnostic for a disease is prepared by determining the disease-specific adsorption site pattern on a given test surface, in contrast to the non-disease pattern.
