An anchor pier for supporting a manufactured building, in which the anchor pier includes having a shaft with a connector and a helical flight proximate a driving tip, with a brace member attached to the connector and to the manufactured building with a connector, to transfer loading between the manufactured building and the ground. A method of supporting a manufactured building is disclosed.

A deck apparatus for assembly with a pair of opposing brace frames interconnected by a pair opposing connector bases and a deck board top frame having a plurality of deck boards disposed thereon, the connector bases having opposing posts for being received in openings in a lower end of the opposing brace frames ends and the deck board top frame having posts for being received in an upper end of the opposing brace frames, and optionally attaching a stairs riser having a plurality of spaced-apart treads or a ramp riser for extending from a deck surface at a height to a vertically lower support surface.

A stabilizer anchor securing a manufactured building to the ground while resisting movement from forces against the building, having an elongated rod with a helical flight at a first end and a connector at an opposing end, which rod slidingly receives a plate for movement relative to the rod during installation. A stabilizer member connects between a connector of the rod and an I-beam of the manufactured building for communicating forces on the building to the ground. A method of securing a manufacturing building to the ground while resisting movement in response to forces against the building is disclosed.

Stabilizer anchor assembly for manufactured building

A flashlight is protected from damage due to shock such as occurs when a flashlight is dropped, crushed or otherwise physically abused. A plastic molding can be attached to either the front or rear portion of a flashlight or to both portions to resiliently absorb shock forces. A series of thin fins projects axially outwardly from the molding to resiliently deform upon impact so as to absorb shock and distribute the shock around the ends of the flashlight and to reduce stress concentrations around the ends of the flashlight. A series of axially-extending and radially-extending ribs further protects the flashlight from axially and radially-directed shock forces and further absorb shock forces. An optional safety crush or clearance zone can be provided between each shock absorber and the flashlight.

An apparatus for supporting a lateral portion of a manufactured building having a support beam, comprising a ground member for being received on a ground surface and a joist bracket attached to at least one joist in a lateral portion of the manufactured building. A pivotably attached joist tube disposed in a first position between the ground member and the joist bracket is longitudinally movable to a second position for bearing forcibly therebetween and thereby supporting the lateral portion of the manufactured building. A method of supporting a lateral portion of a manufactured building having a support beam is disclosed.

Side wall support pier and method for foundation of manufactured building

A connector for a brace and a vertical post in a foundation for a manufactured building having support beams, the connector having a base and two opposing walls that each define an opening, a vertical support assembly having a plate that defines an opening and a tubular sleeve coaxial with an opening, which sleeve is coaxial with the openings in the walls when the plate is disposed on the base, and a threaded member extending from the tubular sleeve for engaging the vertical post. A fastener extends through the opening in one of the side walls, through the sleeve, through openings in a lower end of the brace, and through the opening in the opposing side wall, whereby the brace pivotably attaches to the base and the support assembly orients the threaded member vertically to support the vertical post. The connector used in a foundation for a manufactured building for connecting a brace and a vertical post to the manufactured building.

Connector and foundation for manufactured building

An apparatus includes a frame having a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration. A first membrane is coupled to the frame and includes a seat portion with first and second openings. A second membrane is couplable to the first membrane and/or the frame and is configured to be moved between a first position in which the second membrane covers the first and second openings, and a second position in which the first and second openings are not covered by the second membrane. The frame and the first membrane are configured to support a user in a seated position when the second membrane is in the first position and the frame is expanded, the first and second openings are each configured to receive a leg of a user when the second membrane is in the second position and the frame is expanded to support the user in a standing position.
