A device receives void configuration information that identifies a set of rules for generating void information based on printed circuit board (PCB) design information, and receives, based on receiving the void configuration information, the PCB design information that identifies via information of a PCB. The device compares, based on receiving the PCB design information, the set of rules, associated with the void configuration information, and the via information associated with the PCB design information, and generates the void information based on comparing the set of rules, associated with the void configuration information, and the via information associated with the PCB design information. The void information includes a set of parameters associated with a set of voids to be included in the PCB. The device performs an action based on generating the void information.

Apparatus and methods for removing surgical fasteners. The apparatus includes a mechanism for opening the fastener so that it may be removed from, for example, tissue, prostheses or graft material.

Surgical clip removal apparatus

A surgical fastener comprising a clip movable between an open configuration and a closed configuration and a biasing member contacting the clip and biasing the dip to its open configuration when the biasing member is actuated. The biasing member and clip both tend to assume the closed configuration when no external forces are applied to them. A needle may be releasably attached to the clip. In one implementation, a PCB having an array of vias and electrical terminals disposed on the side of the PCB opposite the side configured to receive a grid array package are disclosed herein. The array of vias have pads and forms a pattern of repetitive rows and columns. A substantially consistent intervia distance is defined along an intervia axis between each adjacent via in each of the rows and columns. A pair of electrical terminals are positioned adjacent one another along an electrical terminal axis between at least two of the vias and the electrical terminal axis intersects the intervia axis. In another implementation, a group of four adjacent vias form a substantially rectangular shape having one of four vias positioned at each of four corners of the rectangular shape. One electrical terminal is positioned within the four vias without contacting any of the four vias.

A needle may be releasably attached to the clip. A method for connecting tissues is also disclosed. The method includes inserting a clip through tissue with the clip being biased in an open position by a restraining device secured to the clip, and removing the restraining device from the clip.

A tissue connector assembly having a flexible member and a surgical clip releasably coupled to the flexible member. A needle may be secured to one end portion of the flexible member with the surgical clip coupled to the other end portion of the flexible member. A locking device may be used to couple the flexible member to the surgical clip. A method for connecting tissues is also disclosed. The method includes drawing tissue portions together with a clip assembly and securing the tissue portions together with the clip assembly.

A surgical irrigation system is suitable for endoscopic and other surgical procedures. A hand held handpiece has a forward protruding hollow tip for supplying irrigation liquid to a surgical site, a hand actuable control for controlling irrigation liquid flow to the tip, and an irrigation liquid inlet. A self contained pumping unit is locatable adjacent a source of irrigation liquid and remote from the handpiece. The pumping unit comprises a housing containing an outlet for irrigation liquid, a pumping member for pumping irrigation liquid through the outlet, a motor for driving the pumping member, and an electric battery assembly for energizing the motor. An elongate tube connects the pumping outlet to the handpiece irrigation liquid inlet for supplying pumped irrigation liquid to the handpiece.
