An exercise apparatus includes a first cord, a second cord, and an adjustment mechanism. The first cord is pullable from and retractable around a first pulley. The second cord is pullable from and retractable around a second pulley. The adjustment mechanism allows for adjusting a pull-out tension provided by the first cord independently of a retraction tension provided by the first cord. The pull-out tension provided by the first cord is a tension provided by the first cord when the first cord is pulled from the first pulley. The retraction tension provided by the first cord is a tension provided by the first cord when the first cord is retracted around the first pulley.

Exercise devices and methods with retractable cords

A panel assembly includes a resiliently deflectable panel and a plurality of retainer clips. The panel includes a relatively thick rectangular base section and a relatively thin rectangular lip section which extends outwardly from the periphery of the base section. The retainer clips are connected with the base section and cooperate with the lip section of the panel. Each of the retainer clips includes a plurality of mounting teeth which penetrate the material of the panel and a plurality of latch teeth. To mount the panel in the support structure, the latch teeth on the retainer clips engage the support structure to hold the panel against movement relative to the support structure.

Panel clip

A panel assembly includes a resiliently deflectable panel and a plurality of retainer clips. The panel includes a relatively thick rectangular base section and a relatively thin rectangular lip section which extends outwardly from the periphery of the base section. The retainer clips are connected with the base section and cooperate with the lip section of the panel to engage a support structure to hold the panel in place. To mount the panel in the support structure, the panel is resiliently flexed. The panel is then released and its natural resilience causes a retainer clip to engage the support structure to hold the panel against movement relative to the support structure. A disengagement tool may advantageously be inserted between the panel and the support structure to apply force against the retainer clip and to resiliently flex the panel to disengage the retainer clip from the support structure.

Panel, clip and method of mounting panel

A suspension ceiling system is disclosed which combines snap-up pans and lay-in panels. Such system includes runners formed with channels at the lower edges thereof formed by opposed lateral flanges, depending side walls, and inturned lips. The inturned lips terminate at inner edges which are spaced apart to provide a longitudinal opening on the lower side of the channel. Lay-in panels are positioned in some of the grid openings, and provide peripheral edges supported by the flanges. Snap-up panels formed of sheet metal are provided with peripheral flanges having inwardly directed ribs extending lengthwise of the flanges and spaced from the lower pan surface. The flanges are positioned in the openings beween the runner lips with the ribs snapped over the associated lip to secure the snap-up panels in position. The lips provide a delineation between the lay-in panels and the adjacent flanges of adjacent snap-up panels are spaced by substantially the same distance to provide a similar delineation. When sound absorption is required, a snap-up pan is installed in the same opening as a lay-in panel to define a chamber therebetween. Such snap-up pan is provided with apertures open to such chamber.
