A system including a battery system to provide additional power during peak operating conditions is described. The system may avoid or reduce the need for extensive infrastructure associated with a power delivery system capable of providing peak power, but may instead, rely on infrastructure that need only provide power needed on an average basis.

Peak power spreading

A water and lighting display that includes an unmanned aerial system (UAS) is disclosed. The UASs may illuminate water shot out of the water fountains, may fly in formation or may include removable payloads.

Water and lighting displays including unmanned aerial system

A system for configuring unmanned aircraft system (UAS) to a structure is disclosed. The structure may be a standing structure such as a tower. A movement system may be configured with the tower. The UASs may be tethered to the movement structure and the movement structure may move with respect to the tower.

UAS display system and method

A display where water is applied onto the screen of a visual display monitor and graphics are presented on the display that coincides with the applied water is described. The timing of the water being applied to the screen and the playing of the graphics may be orchestrated such that the applied water seems to create the presented graphics. A controller may be used to control the water and the display.

Water drop TV screen

An unmanned aerial system (UAS) that displays an image, video or other effect is described. The UAS may include a camera that captures the image for display. The UAS may be used in connection with a water display, and multiple UASs may operate together.

A tethered unmanned aerial system (UAS) is described, wherein the flight of one or more UASs may be used in connection with a water and light display.

Tethered unmanned aerial system

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that includes a light and a cooling system is described. The light fitted to the UAV may be bright since heat it generates will be cooled by thermal conduction, convection and/or heat absorption. The light may be cooled by the airflow generated by the propellers. The cooling system of the lighted UAV may include radiator that may conduct heat to the environment and/or include an internal liquid cooling system. The cooling system may include dedicated fans to cool the lights.

Unmanned aerial vehicle with lighting and cooling therefor

A system that illuminates water in a water display in broad daylight is described. The system may include a color filter that directs a desired color or range of colors onto the water. The source of light may be the sun or an artificial light source. Where the light source is the sun, a heliostat may be included to track the sun and reflect sunlight to the color filter. Other reflecting mirrors may be included to provide a line of sight between the light source and water display being illuminated.

Colored water display

Lighting modules having a first LED support having a first plurality of LEDs mounted thereon adjacent a center of the first LED support, a second LED support having an outer edge and an inner opening, and a second plurality of LEDs mounted thereon adjacent the inner opening of the second LED support, the second LED support being spaced apart from the first LED support, the inner opening of the second LED support being larger than the region of the first LED support having the first plurality of LEDs, whereby light from the LEDs on the first LED support may pass though the inner opening of the second LED support. Additional larger LED supports with LEDs may be added, and the assembly of the LED supports sealed with the outer edges of the LED supports extending outward for immersion and cooling in water when incorporated in a larger sealed assembly.

Lighting modules

Underwater LED lights with enhanced cooling to allow the use of substantial numbers of high power LEDs. In all embodiments, the majority of the heat given off by the LEDs is transferred to the housing of the underwater light by heat transfer techniques other than by convection of the air or other gases within the enclosure, providing direct heat conveyance from the LEDs to or through the light enclosure walls, by conduction through a thermal conductor or by or as augmented by heat pipes to the inside wall of the enclosure or through the wall of the enclosure to the water. Various embodiments are disclosed.

Underwater LED lights

The present invention relates to a decorative water display having many degrees of freedom. The water display has one or more water display nozzles mounted so that the direction of the nozzle may be controlled such as by a computer. In the preferred embodiment, the pressure of the water delivered to the nozzle may also be controlled as desired. Also controllable with the nozzle direction is appropriate lighting to illuminate the discharge from the nozzle for night time use. The elevation of the entire assembly is controllable, preferably between an operative position, a withdrawn position totally below the water surface and a service position extending above the water surface. Various embodiments and features are disclosed.

Decorative illuminated water display

A light transmitting roofing structure for a building having spaced apart rafters, and a method of use thereof, has a plurality of concave pan tiles mounted on and attached to the rafters, with a plurality of convex roof tiles attached to the rafters and overlapping the pan tiles on either side. The pan tiles are made of a light transmitting material. The roof tiles are similar to traditional roof tiles, giving the roofing structure the external appearance of a traditional roof.

Light transmitting roofing structure and method

A blood pressure measurement apparatus comprises electronic circuitry which converts an output from a pressure transducer into a digital display for both the systolic and diastolic blood pressure of an individual. The output of the pressure transducer contains an electrical DC voltage component with a superimposed AC voltage component during arterial blood flow. Sample and hold and logarithmic scaling circuits are used to properly sense the AC voltage over a wide range of values so as to eliminate improper sensing due to noise. A digital output display shows the individual's systolic blood pressure while another display shows the current transducer reading which becomes set upon reaching the diastolic pressure. Control circuitry is used to sense occurrence of the systolic and diastolic pressures. In one embodiment, the circuitry is enclosed in a wristwatch type case which also includes a constrictable band and an integral air bulb, resulting in an easily portable wrist-worn blood pressure measuring device. In another embodiment, the electronic circuitry is incorporated into a standard sphygmomanometer cuff to provide an automatic blood pressure measuring device.
