A wind turbine which is configured to be disposed in or above a sea floor is provided. The wind turbine includes a tower configured to protrude from a sea level and having a transmitter configured to transmit an electromagnetic wave to be reflected on the sea level and a receiver configured to receive the reflected electromagnetic wave, wherein at least one of the transmitter and the receiver includes a leaky feeder; and a processing unit being in communication with the receiver and configured to analyse the reflected electromagnetic wave such that a wave characteristic of the sea level is determined.

A wind turbine has an object position and/or speed detection device including: at least one leaky feeder, at least one electromagnetic transmitter connected to the least one leaky feeder for transmitting a first electromagnetic signal along the at least one leaky feeder towards a target object, whose position is to be detected, at least one electromagnetic receiver connected to the least one leaky feeder for receiving from the at least one leaky feeder a second electromagnetic signal, the second electromagnetic signal reflected from the target object when the first electromagnetic signal hits the target object, a processing unit connected to the electromagnetic transmitter and the electromagnetic receiver and configured to analyze the first electromagnetic signal and the second electromagnetic signal for determining the position and/or speed and/or direction and/or the size of the target object.

A bearing arrangement for a wind turbine comprises a first bearing shell that is prepared to be coupled to a first part of the wind turbine. The bearing arrangement comprises a second bearing shell that is prepared to be coupled to a second part of the wind turbine. The first and the second bearing shell are arranged in a way that the first and the second bearing shell are rotatable with respect to each other and have a first isolation ring for electrical isolation, so that the first part of the wind turbine can be rotated with respect to the second part of the wind turbine and avoid static discharge.

The present invention relates to a wind turbine facility comprising a power generator operationally connected to an AC/AC converter adapted to receive variable frequency AC-power from the power generator, and adapted to generate substantially fixed frequency AC-power. The wind turbine facility further comprises a harmonic filter system, and a grid transformer comprising a primary winding being operationally connected to the AC/AC converter, and a secondary winding adapted to be operationally connected to an associated, substantially fixed frequency AC-power supply grid. The grid transformer further comprises a tertiary winding being operationally connected to the harmonic filter in order to suppress unwanted harmonics, such as selected harmonics generated by the AC/AC converter.
