A raster log digitization system and method are disclosed. The system and method receives a raster log in which the raster log has one or more values of one or more measurements of a well and each value of each measurement being recorded at a plurality of depths of the well. In the raster log, the value of at least one measurement wraps around the raster log. The system and method may generate using the received raster log a digital log from the raster log wherein the digital log resolves the values of at least one measurement that wrapped around the raster log.

Raster log digitization system and method

A system and method is provided for performing image-guided fault extraction from a fault-enhanced seismic image. The system divides three-dimensional fault-enhanced seismic images into a series of two-dimensional seismic image slices that can be selectively displayed and analyzed for fault surfaces. The system allows a user to select two or more fault surface points in a displayed image slice and identifies a fault path between the first fault surface point and the second fault surface that corresponds to a calculated at least cost path.

Method and system for image-guided fault extraction from a fault-enhanced seismic image

A system and method is provided for analyst to rapidly and accurately identify and model subsurface geologic horizons, which are bounding surfaces of rock layers, by extracting surfaces from two-dimensional and three-dimensional seismic data.
