The present disclosure relates to on course rating systems (OCRS) and, more particularly, to its pace targets on cross country or road race course segments and related systems and methods of use. The method includes: obtaining performance equivalences (PEQs) of a first rated course including a track equivalent time of the first rated course; and obtaining a goal time, the equivalent of the first course but on a second course; and providing pace targets on selected segments for the second rated course using the track equivalent time and the goal time in order to cumulatively produce the goal time of the second rated course.

The present disclosure describes a course difficulty rating method using a mechanical method to obtain an energy differential for obtaining a difficulty rating. More specifically, the present disclosure describes a difficulty rating method used to determine a relative difficulty of a cross country running course or a road racing course using energy information of a self-propelled vehicle. The method includes: obtaining an energy reading of a self-propelled vehicle as it is propelled on a first course; obtaining an energy reading of the self-propelled vehicle at is it propelled over a second course; and comparing the energy readings collected by the self-propelled vehicle over the first course and the second course to determine an energy factor course for the first course.

A capillary threading tool is used to thread bond wire through the capillary tool of a wire bond machine. The capillary threading tool includes a handle that is grasped to manipulate a body portion into a gap between the upper end of the capillary tube and the lower end of a guide tube that is positioned above the capillary tube. The body portion includes a guide surface that is placed in contact with the wire bond machine, and a vertical slot extending from the guide surface that terminates in a closed end having an inclined surface. The length of the slot is selected to position the lower edge of the inclined surface above the end of the capillary tube so the bond wire can be threaded into the capillary tube simply by forcing the end of the wire on the inclined surface.

The present invention relates to a process of utility conservation control methodology within a fluid pumping distribution system. With fluid flowing through a distribution grid, the pressure at any given point becomes a function of system flow. At a specific flow rate, the pressure at this point is a function of flow rate. This invention is a process that continuously adjusts the pressure requirement for the pumping system by varying the pump speed according to the system head curve details. This invention produces several benefits for a fluid distribution system including reducing utility costs and equipment aging.

A stringed instrument having a solid body constructed of albizzia wood that is lightweight, durable, offers an aesthetically pleasing appearance and is capable of demonstrating good tonal quality over a broad range of pitches played acoustically or amplified. The body of said instrument is formed from a single piece of albizzia or from a plurality of pieces, arranged longitudinally, and joined using splines in conjunction with adhesive or by other known methods. Albizzia, having a high tensile strength and low specific gravity, allows for the production of light weight solid body instruments without the cost, complexity and degradation of sound quality of solid body instruments having composite body construction. A thin veneer can be added to cover the solid albizzia body for added strength and aesthetic variation. Also described is a method for selecting and preparing the albizzia wood and alternative constructions wherein the instrument neck traverses a portion, or forms the central section, of the solid body.
