An apparatus and method for formatting a label are provided. An example method includes receiving data, a first portion of the data being encoded in a first encoding scheme; defining, via a processor, a first field block based on first text layout information received in association with a first field block command, the first field block for rendering text on a label; and formatting, via the processor, the first portion of the data within the first field block according to a first text display direction received in association with a first field parameter command.

Global printing system and method for rendering encoding scheme independent labels having serialization data

A demountable structure system is disclosed. The demountable structure system may have a roof system positioned atop one or more structural panel(s) and a floor system positioned beneath one or more structural panels(s). The structural panels may have different shapes, configurations, and features, and may support the roof system in order to form a demountable structure. Alternatively, the roof system is omitted and a wall or other structure can be formed from the structural panels. Each structural panel may have other features, such as finish panels, fabric panels, accessory mounts, recessed lighting, electrical outlets, etc. Some structural panels have sound dampening features, such as to form portable musician's sound booth. Thus, a structure may be formed which is both readily disassembled, yet also sturdy.

Demountable/modular structure system

A system and method for parsing data formatted in a plurality of encoding schemes at a printer is provided. The method comprises receiving serialization data from at least one host computer at a printer where at least a portion of the serialization data is encoded in at least one encoding scheme. The method also includes converting the data into a first encoding scheme. The method also includes parsing the converted data into an array of combining semantic clusters based on a plurality of rules, each combining semantic cluster comprising a plurality of code points. The method also includes generating a plurality of labels for printing based on the array of combining semantic clusters where each of the plurality of labels are printed such that one or more elements within the array are at least one of incremented or decremented.

A system and method for parsing data formatted in a plurality of encoding schemes at a printer is provided. The method comprises receiving data from at least one host computer at the printer, wherein at least a portion of the data is encoded in a plurality of encoding schemes. The method also includes determining a parser state of the data based on a plurality of characters and/or at least one printer control command associated with the plurality of encoding schemes.

Global printing system and method of using same

A cushioned prosthetic liner includes a distal attachment plate to which is secured a number of longitudinally extending elongate arms that are substantially non-stretchable in a longitudinal direction. The arms allow radial expansion and contraction of the liner but substantially inhibit axial stretching and therefore inhibit milking of a residuum. The arms may be embedded within the liner or secured to a surface of the liner. The structure spreads the negative pressure generated during the swing phase of a gait over substantially all of the inner surface area of the liner to further inhibit the milking effect. The elongate arms are preferably formed of silk, fiberglass cloth, or other substantially non-stretchable material. They may also be provided in the form of a strip of epoxy applied to a surface of a conventional prosthetic liner or in the form of seams sewed into the liner. Additional embodiments include prosthetic liners having no distal attachment plate. In those additional embodiments, the nonstretchable elongate arms are embedded into or secured to the surface of the prosthetic liner.

Prosthetic liner having longitudinal inelasticity

A socket has a gelatinous core to provide an enhanced cushioning effect for a residual limb. The gelatinous material is covered by a flexible inner cover that shields the skin of the residual limb from the gel and by a flexible outer cover that shields the inner wall of a prosthetic frame from the gel. The inner cover prevents the gel from absorbing body oils and therefore eliminates odors associated with liners formed of gelatinous materials. A self-inflating foam pad is positioned between the inner and outer covers to adjust the fit as needed when the residual limb changes in volume. The pad initially has substantially no air in its interstitial spaces and air is admitted when the patient opens a valve. This prevents over-pressurization of the pad because the maximum pressure that can be exerted by the pad is determined by the prosthetist when the patient is fitted with a prosthesis.

Self-inflating socket having encased gel

A composition comprising discrete particles of elastomeric triblock copolymer, the particles having a Shore A hardness of less than 30 suspended in a continuous phase matrix of noncellular elastomeric polyurethane polymer, in which the triblock copolymer has the configuration A-X-A in which block A is polystyrene and block X is a polymer of butadiene, isoprene or copolymer of ethylene and butylene; the final composition having a Shore A hardness of less than 20.

Soft elastomeric composite composition

A liner that covers an amputation stump and which cushions the stump when it is placed into a prosthesis socket includes selectively inflatable bladders foe customizing the liner to fit individual patients. The liner is made of two liner parts, one being an inner liner and the other being an outer liner. The inner liner is placed onto the amputation stump and a prosthetist determines the region or regions where bladders are needed to provide a comfortable fit. The region or regions are outlined with an adhesive and the outer liner is then brought into overlying relation to the inner liner so that the two liner parts adhere to one another along the outlined regions. Upon inflation, the inner liner conforms to the shape of the amputation stump to provide enhanced cushioning and the outer liner conforms to the shape of the interior wall of the socket and the patient receives a custom fit from a simple appliance. An annular bladder at the proximal rim of the socket creates a substantially perfect seal to maintain the suction within the socket.
