One embodiment relates to an apparatus that includes an illumination source () for illuminating a target substrate (), objective optics () for projecting the EUV light which is reflected from the target substrate, and a sensor () for detecting the projected EUV light. The objective optics includes a first mirror (, or) which is arranged to receive and reflect the EUV light which is reflected from the target substrate, a second mirror (, or) which is arranged to receive and reflect the EUV light which is reflected by the first mirror, a third mirror (, or) which is arranged to receive and reflect the EUV light which is reflected by the second mirror, and a fourth mirror (, or) which is arranged to receive and reflect the EUV light which is reflected by the third mirror.

Apparatus for EUV imaging and methods of using same

An imaging system. An array of light sources and an array of lenses corresponding to the light sources and having optical axes substantially parallel to one another are provided. The lenses produce collimated output beams. An afocal optical relay having an optical axis substantially parallel to the optical axes of the lenses is also included, the array of lenses being positioned relative to the afocal optical relay so as to form an optical system that produces an image of each collimated output beam on an image plane, each image having a prescribed depth of focus and spot size. The light sources preferably are lasers producing an array of respective laser beams having high intensity and a long waist. A system for writing information on a light-sensitive label includes the imaging system. Methods of imaging and of writing information on a light-sensitive label are also provided.

Optical system for direct imaging of light markable material

A water craft having an adjustable fin assembly. The fin includes a base having a circular cross-section for rotating within a circular recess formed in a fin box attached to a water board. A means is provided for securing the fin at a predetermined angle of attack. The fin may be secured by a set screw or pin passing through the fin box and making contact with the base. The pin may pass through a hole in the base to provide vertical and rotational support for the fin. The pin may be moved between an engaged position and an unengaged position by the rotation of a gear interfacing with teeth formed on the pin. The fin base and fin box may include mating projections and slots for securing the angular position of the fin and an associated pin for retaining the fin within the fin box.

An optical scanning device, for reflecting a light beam produced by a laser light source, having an entrance window; a rotatable scan optic having a reflective surface and a spherical exit window; the reflective surface of the rotatable scan optic positioned adjacent the entrance window and central to the spherical exit window such that the light beam successively encounters the entrance window, the reflective surface of the rotatable scan optic, and the spherical exit window surrounding the reflective surface of the rotatable scan optic, the light beam encountering and passing through the spherical exit window after being reflected away from the rotatable scan optic; the reflective surface of the rotatable scan optic circumscribed by a chamber defined by the entrance window, the rotatable scan optic device, and the spherical exit window.

This is a catoptric optical system including afocal and focal embodiments comprising substantially aspheric concave first, convex second, third, and concave fourth reflection means producing an intermediate image between the first and fourth reflection means. In an afocal embodiment, the third reflection means is proximate the internal image produced by the second reflection means and provides aberration control and a compact beam folding function. In an alternate focal embodiment, the second reflection means is proximate the internal image produced by the first reflection means. Significant magnifying power is achieved for the afocal embodiment while minimizing aberration and distortion and providing full spectrum coverage with high image quality. The system provides a wide circular or square field of view with little or no obscuration in a compact envelope. The exiting beam is substantially normal to the incident beam and the exit pupil is external, even when the aperture stop is external to, or at, the primary mirror.

A device for pulling electrical cable through conduit having a rigid frame with two wheels mounted thereon for being moved in a wheelbarrow like fashion and having attached to the frame a motor for driving a torque converter and speed reduced which drive a shaft which is clutched and which has a reel of cable connected thereto in which a guide and support mechanism directs the cable to the reel and support the entire device in a fixed position relative to the conduit through which the cable is being pulled and in which the motor can be remotely controlled by a switch.

Apparatus for monitoring strip loop position, having a plurality of light sources and a corresponding plurality of photo-detectors spaced from each other in the strip loop reservoir on opposite sides of the strip loop path; each photo-detector is connected to the input of a corresponding photocell amplifier which is normally biased to be driven to positive or negative saturation as a function of the input voltage applied to the photocell amplifier. The outputs of all the photocell amplifiers are coupled together through a summing junction to the input of an output amplifier for amplifying the voltage and current signals appearing at the summing junction. Display and/or control means are coupled to the output of the output amplifier.
