A bypass valve () that regulates a flow of a fluid in a waste heat recovery system () is provided. The bypass valve () comprises a valve housing (), an expander poppet () coupled to the valve housing () and adapted to prevent the flow of the fluid to an expander (), and a valve stem () with at least a portion disposed in the valve housing () wherein the valve stem () is adapted to displace the expander poppet () to allow the fluid to flow to the expander (), and regulate the flow of the fluid.

A waste heat recovery system () for an engine () comprises a fluid supply (); one or more evaporators () adapted to transfer waste heat from the engine () to fluid from the fluid supply () to heat the fluid to a superheated vapor; a condenser () having a condenser inlet (') in fluid communication with the one or more evaporators; and a pressure regulator () configured to limit the vapor pressure at the condenser inlet (&#x2032;).

Vehicle waste heat recovery system

A waste heat recovery system () for an engine (), comprises a fluid supply (); two or more evaporators () adapted to receive waste heat from an engine (); a valve module () including an inlet port () in fluid communication with the fluid supply (), a first outlet port () in fluid communication with a first evaporator () of the two or more evaporators (), and a second outlet port () in fluid communication with a second evaporator () of the two or more evaporators (), the module being adapted to selectively provide a fluid communication path between the fluid supply () and one or more of the two or more evaporators (). A fluid control module () for a waste heat recovery system () with a 10 working fluid is provided. The static seal fluid control module () includes a module body () at least partially enclosing a pump () and at least one valve () wherein no atmospheric dynamic seals retain the working fluid in the static seal fluid control module ().

A method of forming a flapper assembly () for a throttle valve () is provided. The method includes steps of forming a flapper () comprised of hub () having an opening () and at least one vane () coupled to the hub (), disposing a shaft () in the opening (), and pressing a punch (P) into an outer surface () of the hub () such that a torque dimple () extends from the hub () into the shaft () to fasten the flapper () to the shaft ().

When the biasing device () is selected to provide a normally-closed biasing force to the armature () then the configurable actuation-orientation valve () comprises a normally-closed (NC) valve and when the biasing device () is selected to provide a normally-open biasing force to the armature () then the configurable actuation-orientation valve () comprises a normally-open (NO) valve.

The coupler insert () includes a conduit support insert () configured to be retained in a coupler bore () of the coupler () and a conduit support () configured to fit into and be retained by the conduit support insert (). The conduit support () is configured to generate a first audible sound when inserted to a first insertion point in the conduit support insert () and is configured to generate a second audible sound when inserted to a second insertion point.

The valve () further comprises a rotatable spool () positioned within the internal bore () and rotatable about a longitudinal axis (X-X). A first canted seal () is provided that is positioned on the rotatable spool () at an angle (&#x3b8;) with respect to the longitudinal axis (X-X). A second canted seal () is also provided that is positioned on the rotatable spool () at an angle (&#x3b1;) with respect to the longitudinal axis (X-X).

A parking brake interlock is provided according to the invention. The parking brake interlock includes a parking brake inlet configured to receive a parking brake air supply, a service brake inlet configured to receive a service brake air supply, an exhaust port, and an interlock valve mechanism in communication with the parking brake inlet, the service brake inlet, and the exhaust port. The interlock valve mechanism is configured to exhaust the parking brake air supply if the service brake air pressure is not received. The interlock valve mechanism is further configured to hold the parking brake air supply in order to generate a parking brake air pressure if the service brake air pressure is received.

A lift axle control valve () for controlling a vehicle lift axle is provided. The valve () includes a vehicle port () configured to receive a vehicle pressure and a suspension port () configured to receive a suspension pressure. The valve () is configured to receive a lift axle control signal, actuate the lift axle control valve () to connect one or more lift bag output ports () to the vehicle port () and to connect one or more load bag output ports () to the vent port () if the lift axle control signal comprises a lift command, and actuate the lift axle control valve () to connect the one or more load bag output ports () to the suspension port () and connect the one or more lift bag output ports () to the vent port () if the lift axle control signal comprises a load command.

The present invention relates to a leveling valve including a first port, a second port, a third port, a valve, and a clutch. The clutch is provided with an engaged position and a disengaged position. At least a portion of the clutch may move relative to the valve when the clutch is in the disengaged position. The clutch moves the valve when the clutch is in the engaged position. The valve is movable between a first position, a second position, and a third position. When the valve is in the first position, the valve blocks a first pathway, which extends from the first port, from connecting with a second pathway, which extends from the second port. When the valve is in the second position, the valve allows the first pathway to connect with the second pathway. When the valve is in the third position, the valve allows the second pathway to connect with a third pathway, which extends from the third port.

Seat height control system

A fuel selector valve () in communication with at least first and second fuel tanks and an engine is provided. The fuel selector valve () includes a drive system (), and a fuel draw valve () coupled to the drive system (). The fuel draw valve () includes a first fuel tank draw port () adapted to be coupled to the first fuel tank, a second fuel tank draw port () adapted to be coupled to the second fuel tank, and an engine draw port () adapted to be coupled to the engine. The fuel selector valve () further includes a first closure element () operably coupled to the drive system (). The first closure element () is selectively displaceable between a first position, wherein the first closure element () sealingly engages the first fuel tank draw port (), and a second position, wherein the first closure element () sealingly engages the second fuel tank draw port ().

A selector valve () having at least first and second ports (and) is provided. The selector valve includes a closure element () selectively displaceable between a first position, wherein the closure element () sealingly engages the first port (), and a second position, wherein the closure element () sealingly engages the second port (). The selector valve () further includes a cam assembly that is configured to bias the closure element () into at least the first or second position in a manner such that the closure element () does not come into substantial contact with the first or second port (or) when being moved into the first or second position.

Three-position selector valve

A lift axle control module is disclosed that is simpler than prior art lift axle control systems, and does not require cycling the input pressure to the regulator. The module includes a housing fluidly connected to a first pressurized air supply and having one chamber with a load bladder port, a second chamber with a lift bladder port, and a common vent port. A pilot pressure is selectively provided for switching the module between the retracted and deployed modes. When the control module is set to the retracted mode, the lift bladders are pressurized to the system pressure, and the load bladders are vented. When the control module is set to the deployed mode, the lift bladders are vented and the load bladders are inflated and maintained at the regulated pressure.
