A secondary-fuel inductor for an engine including a carburetor with a primary fuel inlet having an outlet end. The inductor includes a gasket and a fuel conduit. The gasket defines an opening through which the fuel conduit extends. The fuel conduit has a bend defining a first segment and a second segment. The first segment includes a gasket-spanning segment that extends through the fuel-conduit opening and an inlet end that can have a connector for connection to a fuel line for a secondary fuel. And the second segment includes an outlet end positioned within a venturi area of the carburetor, for example, immediately adjacent the outlet end of the primary fuel inlet.

An electronic line shaft includes a motor drive and a processing unit operable to execute a wizard for configuring the motor drive. The wizard is operable to receive mechanical characteristic data associated with the motor drive, determine a noise parameter based on the mechanical characteristic data, and determine at least one control parameter of the motor drive based on the noise parameter.

A method and system for remote monitoring of liquid level within a container , such as the level of fuel within a propane cylinder. A magnetic float disposed within the container floats on the liquid , and lowers with the liquid level as fuel is consumed. Magnetic sensors outside the container sense the float as it passes in the proximity of one of the sensors . A controller receives output signals from the sensors and transmits level indicating signals to a gauge or other indicator for remote indication of the corresponding liquid level. The indicator can be located proximal the user's direct line of sight, to remind the user to periodically monitor the fuel level to prevent running out of fuel.

Method and apparatus for monitoring liquid level in a container

A system and method for minimizing the likelihood of backfiring as a spark ignition, internal combustion engine is turned off. A fuel cut-off device stops the flow of fuel into the engine in response to an engine shut-off control signal, such as when the on-off keyswitch is moved from the &ldquo;on&rdquo; position to the &ldquo;off&rdquo; position. The ignition spark is maintained to the engine for a predetermined length of time after fuel shut-off. The delay time is selected to allow the fuel cut-off device to operate to stop the flow of fuel into the engine. In this way, for as long as the engine is turning over, the engine is provided with an electric spark for controlled ignition, thereby minimizing or eliminating backfiring.
