An adjustable mounting system for mounting a display on a fixture. First and second supports each include a bracket portion and a lateral arm portion. The bracket portion of the first support is operatively connectable to the fixture at a first location and the bracket portion of the second support is operatively connectable to the fixture at a second location. A cross support includes a first lateral adjustment arm, a second lateral adjustment arm, and an adapter arm. The first lateral adjustment arm is adjustably connected to the first lateral arm and the second lateral adjustment arm is adjustably connected to the second lateral arm. A display adapter is adjustably connected to the adapter arm and the display adapter includes an adapter support arm and an adapter bracket configured for operative connection to a display.

An improved mounting system used to mount an audio/visual device, such as a flat panel display, to a desktop or other substantially horizontal mounting surface. According to various embodiments, a surface mounting system comprises a support assembly which mates with one or more collars positioned above and below the surface to which the mounting system is secured. The collars secure the rest of the mounting system to the desktop, and the collars may also secure other components which serve to prevent the support assembly from rotating in an undesirable manner. Only a single hole needs to be made in the desktop or other surface to which the system is mounted, while the number of components that are needed to attach the mounting system to the surface in a secure manner can be minimized. No locking agent is also need to properly and sufficiently secure the surface mounting system to the desktop.

A dual arm articulating mounting system including a vertical adjustment feature. The vertical adjustment feature comprises a bracket that is secured to a rotation box and supports a bolt. The bolt goes through a support plate, with the support plate including at least two holes with bushings inserted therein. The bushings act as guides along smaller-diameter inside tubes while positioning the mount in the vertical position. A nut is threaded onto the bolt on the top side of the plate. As the nut is turned, the rotation box and the television or display device is raised or lowered under its own weight.

A system for mounting a display device from the underside of a body having a planar surface, comprises a mounting bracket coupled to the planar surface of the underside of a body and a tilt block rotatably coupled to the mounting bracket. The tilt block is rotatable about an axis substantially perpendicular to the planar surface. A mounting arm is rotatably coupled the tilt block, and rotates about an axis substantially parallel to the planar surface. An adapter is movably and operatively connected to the mounting arm. The adapter is configured to accept a display device for mounting thereon.

A mounting device for a display device comprising a mounting bracket coupled to the underside of a body and a pivot bracket coupled to the mounting bracket. A pivot bracket is coupled to the mounting bracket at one end thereof. A tilt block is coupled to the pivot bracket and is rotatable about an axis substantially parallel to the body. A carriage bolt is coupled to the tilt block and is rotatable about an axis substantially perpendicular to the body. A display system bracket is operatively connected to the carriage bolt. An interface bracket is connected to the display system bracket and is capable of engaging a display device.
