An electronic dispenser for dispensing measured perforated sheets from a roll of perforated web material includes a housing, and a roll carrier disposed in the housing to rotationally support the roll of perforated web material. An electrically driven feed mechanism is disposed in the housing to dispense the sheets of web material therefrom. The feed mechanism includes rollers defining a drafting zone through which the web material is conveyed. The web material is drawn in the drafting zone to an extent necessary to at least partially separate the web material along a perforation line prior to the perforation line passing through the drafting zone.

Electric dispenser for dispensing sheets from a roll of perforated web material

A multiple mode headbox is provided including a support surface, two or more chambers, and an adjustable roof. Each chamber includes a plurality of nozzles adapted to optionally supply papermaking fibers to the support surface. The adjustable roof is operably configured to adjust over a range of movement such that it defines a forming zone between the support surface and at least one chamber in a first mode, and between said support surface and at least one different said chamber in a second mode.

Multiple mode headbox

A gravity-operated apparatus for sequentially dispensing sheet material from rolls of sheet material. The apparatus includes a housing having an opening; a rotatable turret; cantilevered spindles adapted to receive a roll of sheet material; and a limit gate. Each spindle extends from a distal portion of the turret so the weight of a full roll of sheet material on the spindle urges the turret to rotate placing a full roll of sheet material at a dispensing position. The limit gate is positioned to impede rotation of the turret when the limit gate encounters a spindle containing a roll of sheet material that is less than substantially depleted.
