An injection device for injecting medicament in a patient includes a syringe coupled to a housing and radially retained by a retaining rib. A needle guard is slideably coupled to the housing and spring biased in a distal direction by a return spring. A ram is slideably coupled to the housing and spring biased in the distal direction by a main spring. An initial position is defined by a retaining arm being disposed in the longitudinal path of the ram preventing firing. A released position is defined by the retaining arm being clear from the longitudinal path of the ram allowing the ram to extend distally. A locked position is defined by the retaining arm being disposed in the longitudinal path of the ram and a lock arm of the ram being disposed in the longitudinal path of the needle guard preventing the needle guard from being retracted.

Injection device

Embodiments relate to devices, systems and methods for monitoring neuromuscular blockage. In an embodiment, a neuromuscular blockage monitoring system comprises a patch device comprising a unitary patch body, at least two electrodes and at least one sensor, the at least one sensor arranged between the at least two electrodes on the unitary patch body; and a stimulator device operatively coupled to the patch device and configured to provide at least one electrical signal to the at least two electrodes to stimulate a muscle motor point and to receive a signal from the at least one sensor related to a result of the stimulation of the muscle motor point.

Devices, systems and methods for monitoring neuromuscular blockage

An injection device, for example, an auto-injector of any type, includes a sleeve configured to hold a medicament chamber. The sleeve may be sufficiently deformable such that it functions as a shock absorbing member to distribute the force exerted on the medicament chamber during use of the injection device.

A segmented disc nucleus replacement prosthesis and system for its implantation wherein the segments are made of a compliant, homogeneous material throughout. The prosthesis comprises a plurality of modular segments that mate together in a rail-and-slot arrangement. The rails and slots are configured to interlock and hold together under load despite being formed of compliant materials. In one embodiment, insertion tools and stabilizers are utilized for manipulation of the modular segments, the insertion tools and stabilizers being designed to accommodate for handling the compliant modular segments.
