A locking hub and extensible handle assembly includes a handle having an elongated portion with a stop member at a first end, a grasping portion at an opposed second end, and at least one push button within the handle and proximate the first end. The assembly further includes a hub having a body with a passage extending through the body in a longitudinal direction and slidably receiving the elongated portion of the handle. The assembly also includes an actuator that is movable to permit the push button to be used to lock and unlock the handle relative to the hub.

A removable floor for use with a portable shelter, the floor including a central section defining a ground engaging area and having at least one layer constructed of a non-permeable material, at least one side wall extending upward from and being connected to the central section at an edge of the ground engaging area and having an outward facing side wall fastener, and at least one initial locating fastener extending outward relative to the at least one side wall of the floor. The floor is usable in combination with a portable shelter having complementary fasteners for releasable connection of the floor to the shelter.

A removable insulated floor for use with a portable shelter, the floor including a central section defining a ground engaging area and having at least three layers, at least one side wall extending upward from and being connected to the central section at an edge of the ground engaging area and having an outward facing side wall fastener, the central section includes at least one opening, and a central section fastener is connected to an upper layer of the central section and is located proximate the at least one opening, and at least one patch having a patch fastener connected to a lower surface of the patch and being releasably connected to the central section fastener located proximate the at least one opening. The floor is usable in combination with a portable shelter having complementary fasteners for releasable connection of the floor to the shelter.

Removable insulated floor for a portable shelter

A portable shelter having a hinged side wall includes an enclosure having a plurality of interconnected side walls defining a floor space and being connected to a top wall. At least one of the side walls is a hinged side wall that is pivotally connected to the enclosure and includes opposed first and second side edges and a tope edge that defines an opening in the enclosure. At least one connecting member on the enclosure is configured to selectively connect and disconnect at least the first side edge and the top edge of the hinged side all at the opening. The disclosure also provides a method of hinging the side wall of the portable shelter to an open position.

A convertible shelter system includes an enclosure having a removable side wall that selectively may be hinged to provide open access or to be held in an open position as a wind break. The convertible shelter system also includes the ability to fully remove the removable side wall on two enclosures having the same construction and to quickly and conveniently connect the remaining enclosure structures with a bridging panel, resulting in an enlarged, combined space while maintaining an essentially unobstructed ground surface.
