The invention describes to compositions useful to stabilize peracetic acid, acetic acid and hydrogen peroxide compositions with polymeric phosphonic acid resins or with 1-hydroxyethylidene-1,1,-diphosphonic acid associated with the interior surface of a container to stabilize the peracetic acid, acetic and hydrogen peroxide compositions.

Systems and methods for using solid high-level disinfection chemistries to producing disinfectant solutions. In an embodiment, an apparatus comprises: a first container and a second container. The first container is configured to receive water, sodium percarbonate and tetraacetylethylenediamine. The water, the sodium percarbonate, the tetraacetylethylenediamine react within the first container to produce a mixture comprising peroxyacetic acid. The second container is in fluid communication with the first container, wherein the second container is configured to receive an acid and the mixture. The mixture and the acid mix in the second container to produce a disinfectant solution having a pH between 5.0 and 7.0.

Systems and methods for using solid high-level disinfection chemistries to produce disinfectant solutions

The invention provides for a low pH disinfectant composition that includes a relatively low amount of alcohol. Also provided is an article of manufacture that includes a textile and the composition, as well as methods of using the composition and article of manufacture (e.g., for reducing the number of microbes located upon a substrate, for killing or inhibiting a broad spectrum of microorganisms, for killing or inhibiting spore forming bacteria, and/or for disinfecting a substrate). The composition can optionally include a stable residual antimicrobial compound, thereby providing a combination of high-level disinfection and long-lasting residual effect.

Apparatus and method to make high level disinfectant

Contact lens disinfecting system

Provided herein is a composition that includes: (i) chelator (e.g., ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA)), (ii) buffer system (e.g., potassium phosphate dibasic and sodium hydroxide), (iii) cleaner (e.g., diethyl glycol monoethyl ether), (iv) solubilizer (e.g., propylene glycol), and (v) diluent (e.g., water), wherein the composition has a pH of at least about 9.5. The present invention provides for antimicrobial compositions, methods of preparing the antimicrobial compositions, methods of using the antimicrobial compositions, and/or kits that include the antimicrobial compositions. The antimicrobial compositions can be in a dry, solid (e.g., powdered) form, or can be in a liquid (e.g., aqueous) form.

Water soluble antimicrobial composition

A low-profile tank and system for mixing dry chemicals with water to form a concentrated hemodialysis solution, the tank having a fluid supply nozzle projecting into a cylindrical side wall of the tank, and a drain connection at an apex of a conical bottom wall of the tank. A cavity having a ramp-like bottom wall extends from the cylindrical side wall of the tank. A venturi eductor provides for transfer of dry chemicals to the tank using compressed air to aspirate the chemicals and deliver them to the tank. A plurality of load cells may be used to measure the weight of the tank and contents. Manual transfer of dry chemicals to the tank is facilitated by the low profile of the tank. A tapered shipping container is provided for nesting when empty.
