A riser clamp for supporting fluid pipes in parallel with and spaced from an external surface of a tubular riser. The riser clamp includes at least one body portion which is arrangeable to form a clamp body which is substantially circular or partially circular, and a pipe saddle part. The clamp body encircles a clamp axis. The at least one body portion has an external surface which faces radially outwards and an internal surface which faces radially inwards. The pipe saddle part is provided to be separate and substantially planar, and is arranged to extend radially outwardly from the clamp body.

Riser clamp

A riser assembly includes a riser with a first and second riser joint, an auxiliary line, and a first and second flange. The auxiliary line has an auxiliary line joint which connects a first and second auxiliary line section. The auxiliary line joint has a first joint assembly connected to the first auxiliary line section, and a second joint assembly connected to the second auxiliary line section. The first and second joint assembly each have a bearing surface. A bearing surface of the first flange engages the bearing surface of the first joint assembly. A bearing surface of the second flange engages the bearing surface of the second joint assembly. The bearing surface of the first flange or of the first joint assembly also has a rocker formation which contacts the bearing surfaces of the first flange and of the first joint assembly while permitting a relative angular movement therebetween.

Riser assembly

Torque tool () configured for making up and breaking out joints () in a riser (), the tool () comprising: a tool body () and a tool head (), the tool head () having a socket () configured to receive a head () of a bolt () and apply a torque on the bolt (), a torque sensor () operable to measure the torque applied on the bolt (), and a pre-tension sensor () operable to measure a pre-tension in the longitudinal extension of the bolt () when the bolt () is received in the tool head (). There is also provided a method for pre-tensioning bolted riser joints () comprising a plurality of bolts (), a method of managing a plurality of bolts () for riser joints (), a method of managing a plurality of bolts () for riser joints (), and a riser connector ().

Riser tools and methods

A composite pipe having at least one metal end piece () with a free end and a non-metal tubular component (). The tubular component () is coupled to the at least one end piece () opposite of the free end of the end piece (), by means of at least one peripherally extending, axially acting groove () that the non-metallic tubular component () engages. The non-metallic tubular component () generally comprises axial fibers () extending down into the at least one groove (). The groove () has a bottom () and a flank (), which flank is located furthest away from the free end of the end piece (). Between the flank () and the axial fibers () there is provided an intermediate layer (). Also described is a method of manufacturing such a composite pipe.
