An LED growth light and method for providing light to plants incorporating a reflector housing, LED driver, and dimmable rows of LED chips on the LED growth light. The reflector housings couple to a wiring compartment that includes wiring coupled to each row of LED chips on each reflector housing. The LED driver is coupled to an exterior groove in between two adjacent reflector housings.

LED growth light

An LED growth light and method for providing light to plants incorporating an LED arrangement, a growth light housing, and a power source. The LED arrangement includes LEDs arranged in individually powered columns to provide relatively uniform disbursement of the light to the plants. The housing includes an accessory rail to attach a variety of optional accessories and internal cooling fins to cool the housing to prevent damage to the power supply and/or to prevent overheating the plants. In addition, the housing includes a fan and end caps which permit the movement of air for the displacement of heat and reduce the intake of moisture or debris into the interior of the LED growth light.

A positioner member having a spherically curved wall with an opening through it, a receiver having a surface complementary to the curved wall to nestably interfit with it, a releasable locking member disposed behind the curved wall, and an elongated connector member extending from the receiver through the opening in the curved wall and into engagement with the locking member to permit tightening and loosening of the positioner and receiver, whereby they may be moved relative to one another in a three-dimensionally orbital manner when the connector and locking element are loosened but immovably clamped when these two elements are tightened. The positioner member is attachable to a desired external support such as an automobile dashboard, and the receiver is attachable to a brake controller or other such device. The receiver may be integral with the brake controller, formed in or attached to a side thereof.

Variable-attitude mount for brake controllers and the like

A high-speed penetrating metallic jet is produced using a projectile accelerated by a compressed gas or chemical propellant charge as the source of momentum and energy. The propellant charge and projectile are positioned within a tubular bore such as a gun barrel upstream from a discharge end. A metallic disc is releasably maintained in transverse relation within the bore between the projectile and discharge end. The projectile has a concave contoured impact plate of high density operative to strike the metallic disc upon ignition of the propellant so as to accelerate the disc outwardly from the discharge end while simultaneously causing the disc to collapse radially inwardly toward the barrel axis and create an elongated metallic jet. The invention finds particular application in the penetration of geological strata, concrete, steel, water and many other materials used in fabrication and construction whenever penetrations or perforations are desired.
