A person can use a portable electronic device to electronically purchase or otherwise request a product, service or other deliverable related to audio programming to which the person is listening at the time they initiate the request. The request is fulfilled by a service that analyzes the audio content to identify the deliverable the person desires.

A portable camera may be activated in response to the activity of a firearm. Furthermore, an individual who discharged a firearm may be identified. Furthermore, information related to the firing of a firearm may be recorded, assessed, identified and transmitted. Furthermore, the status of an implement at a mount may be monitored. Furthermore, a charging device for delivering electrical power to components of a firearm may be used. A communications channel may be established between a firearm telematics sensor and a video camera, optionally by means of intermediary devices. When the telematics sensor detects that its associated firearm has been removed from a holster, is in motion, or is being discharged, the telematics sensor may signal the video camera to initiate recording.

Disclosed herein are apparatuses, systems, methods, and machine readable media for activating a portable camera in response to the activity of a firearm, and for implementing and using a system for identifying an individual who discharged a firearm, and for recording, assessing, identifying, and transmitting information related to the firing of a firearm, and for monitoring the status of an implement at a mount, and for using a charging device for delivering electrical power to components of a firearm. A communications channel may be established between a firearm telematics sensor and a video camera, sometimes by means of intermediary devices. A communications channel may be established between a mount (e.g., holster) telematics device and local and/or remote monitoring service components, sometimes by means of intermediary devices. When the telematics sensor detects that its associated firearm is removed from its holster, or in motion, or being discharged, it may signal the camera to initiate recording. When the telematics device detects that its associated firearm is removed from its holster, the change in status can be reported to the local and/or remote system.

A method and apparatus to detect cell voltage of each of a plurality of battery cells in a rechargeable battery pack is disclosed. The method comprises generating a square wave form with a positive phase and a negative phase, sending the square wave form to a first circuit that is connected to a battery cell and to a second circuit with matching components of the first circuit, and finally driving a matching voltage of the second circuit to become equivalent to the battery cell voltage for measurement.

A method and apparatus to detect cell voltage of each of a plurality of battery cells in a rechargeable battery pack is disclosed. The method comprises generating a wave form with a positive phase and a negative phase by a current limited square wave generator. The wave form is a square wave having a maximum peak-to-peak voltage when the square wave generator is not loaded to be current limited. Then, sending the positive phase of the wave form to a first loop from a capacitor to the positive side of a battery cell. And, sending the negative phase of the wave form to a second loop from the negative side of the battery cell toward the capacitor. Finally, detecting a change of an electrical signal from the square wave generator. The voltage detection method and apparatus of this invention can be applied to detect whether a rechargeable battery cell has voltage lower than a low voltage limit or to measure the voltage of the battery cell in order to check its status.

Multiple cell battery voltage measurement

A battery charging system and method, includes a high voltage charger for charging a group or string of series connected battery cells, and a group of individual cell chargers for charging individual ones of the cells. The charging technique includes detecting at least one cell being charged to a predetermined voltage, and then inhibiting the high voltage charger from further charging any of the cells. The individual cell chargers charge individual ones of the cells, except the at least one cell charged to the predetermined voltage.

A fluid ejection assembly includes drop ejecting elements arranged in zones, with each zone having at least one drop ejecting element, wherein the drop ejecting elements of each zone are configured to conduct electrical current between a corresponding supply voltage and a corresponding reference voltage. An energy controller is configured to couple across each conducting drop ejecting element of the enabled group and regulate the supply voltage for each zone based on selected corresponding drop ejecting voltages and on each zone's corresponding desired supply voltage.
