An HVAC assembly including a base portion that includes a rib outwardly extending therefrom. The base portion and the rib formed of a first material having a first elongation to yield. The blower housing including a collapsible portion that is formed of a second material and fixed to the rib by a bond between the first and second materials. The second material having an elongation to yield that is greater than the first elongation to yield of the first material and is configured to collapse when a force is applied to the collapsible portion.

Integrated HVAC evaporator seal

The present teachings provide for an HVAC assembly including a housing and a door. The housing can define a first flue. The first flue can be configured to direct a first airflow through the housing. The door can be received in the housing and can be movable between a first position and a second position. The door can have an edge and an upstream surface. The edge can form a seal with the housing when the door is in the first position. The edge can be spaced apart from the housing when the door is in the second position. The upstream surface of the door can define a plurality of channels proximate to the edge of the door.

HVAC door indents for noise reduction

A detachable holder includes a base and a body. The body is integrally molded with the base and projected from the base. The body is configured to be inserted in a hole formed in a plate member. When the body is inserted in the hole, the body holds the base on the plate member. In addition, the body locates the base relative to the plate member. In addition, the base is detachable from the plate member from one side of the plate member. In addition, the base is detachable from the plate member from an other side of the plate member opposite of the one side.

Detachable holder

A vehicle heating, ventilation, and air cooling (HVAC) system that includes a casing, an evaporator, and a heater core. The casing defines a windshield outlet, a side window outlet, a front face outlet, and a front foot outlet. The evaporator and heater core are both housed within the casing. The side window outlet is between the evaporator and the windshield outlet.
