Formulation and methods for coating metal surfaces

Disclosed is a two-part composition for sealing natural stone or masonry, and methods of use. This invention relates to a coating comprising prepolymer and monomers for application onto polyurethane for chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, water proof etc. Usually polyurethane is porous and does not have sufficient stain, abrasion and chemical resistance. The said coatings developed using technology of chemical grafting that involves the use of prepolymers, monomers, catalyst, graft initiator, wetting agents, fillers and other ingredients of the composition. The coating thus obtained when applied on the polyurethane allows obtaining graft polymerization, thereby forming a polymeric film chemically attached to the substrate. The polyurethane substrate is reacted with craft initiator which creates the reaction sites on the substrate via free radical mechanism. This in turn renders the substrate receptive to attachment of monomers/prepolymers forming polymeric film that is chemically bonded to the substrate which has then the desired property in terms of stain resistance, abrasion wear, crock, water, chemical resistance and other properties.

Protective graft coating for application onto polyurethane for chemical resistance, stain resistance, abrasion resistance and U.V. resistance

This invention relates to polymeric compositions for application onto natural stone in order to provide for long-term chemical, stain, and water resistance, along with antimicrobial properties. Many natural, unsealed stones do not have stain, etch, or water resistance. The described compositions were developed using a technology of chemical grafting that involves the use of prepolymers, monomers, catalysts, graft initiators, wetting agents, antimicrobial agents, and other ingredients. The composition, when thus applied to the stone surface allows it to obtain a graft polymerization, thereby forming a polymer film that is chemically attached to the natural stone, rather than typical physical bonding of other sealer compositions. The natural stones react with a graft initiator in the composition, which creates the reaction sites on the natural stone surface via free radical mechanisms. This in turn renders the natural stone to be receptive to attachment of monomers/prepolymers forming a polymeric film chemically bonded to the natural stone which then has the desired properties in terms of resistance to staining, etching, water penetration, etc., used in homes and light commercial applications, as well as for exterior use on building facades, monuments and the like.

A liquid dispenser for dispensing a liquid such as a hand sanitizer uses a receptacle that is dimensioned to properly fit within a typical vehicle cup holder. A receptacle cap is attached to the top of the receptacle. A pumping system passes through the receptacle cap so as to have a dip tube disposed within the receptacle and an actuator located above the receptacle cap. An protective dome cap is attached to an upper portion of the receptacle cap, has an opening therein for access to the discharge port, and can be pressed downwardly to actuate the pumping system.

Compositions for grafting fragrance substances

Provided herein are graft coating formulations for windows that can help reduce or prevent bird strikes via a combination of UV reflectivity and fluorescence. These graft coating formulations may include an acrylic monomer, a diacrylic monomer, a graft initiator, and a catalyst, and when applied to a glass or plastic substrate, may reflect more than about 70% incident light having a wavelength of less than 400 nm, and also may fluoresce when exposed to light having a wavelength of less than about 400 nm. This combination of reflectivity and fluorescence may render the window visible to birds, while still appearing transparent to humans.

Implementations described and claimed herein provide a system and methods for balancing network loads across distinct provider networks. A breaching apparatus includes an impactor element and a self-contained energy source. The self-contained energy source enables the impactor element to impact a first surface of a structure. The impactor element is configured to transmit a localized shock wave through the structure upon impact. The self-contained energy source is capable of accelerating the impactor element to a velocity sufficient to induce spalling at a second surface of the structure.
