Cord retaining and management device

A chair includes a unitary shell defining a seat portion and a riser portion. The riser portion is generally normal to the seat portion. The chair further includes a back support and a flexible coupling that couples a portion of the back support to a portion of the riser portion. The flexible coupling includes a cushion between the portion of the back support and the portion of the riser portion.

Seating unit

A seating unit includes a tubular support extending upwardly from a chair frame, a retainer telescopingly engaging an upright open end of the support, and an armrest mounted on the retainer. The retainer is keyed at both ends to prevent undesired rotation of the armrest. Accessories are mounted to the retainer, and are positionable at use and non-use positions relative to a seated user. The accessories include a cup holder, a container, a hook for hanging items under the cup holder or container, and different tablets. One tablet includes a wheeled leg that extends downwardly from a center of gravity of the tablet, the leg supporting the tablet and reducing cantilever forces on the retainer. The back and seat comprise a flexible member co-molded onto a supportive partial-perimeter frame member and includes back and seat sections that matably engage corresponding surfaces of the frame member.

A plug-cord retainer outlet for use with a conventional wall outlet including at least one plug socket and a faceplate has a container portion and a cover portion. The container portion has an interior cavity formed therein for storing excess extension cord from a plug inserted into the at least one plug socket. The container portion also has a rear wall and a front wall. The rear wall has an opening formed therein to effectuate engagement with the wall outlet. The cover portion is intended for mating engagement with the container portion. The unit has at least one cord outlet notch formed there to allow a portion of the cord to extend therefrom. The unit also includes a latch mechanism to secure the container portion to the cover portion.

A bib and dish combination device has a bib that preferably has an opening that is designed to accommodate a wearer's neck and to prevent food or beverage from touching a wearer's clothes as the wearer is eating or drinking. The lower end of the bib is preferably intended to engage a dish that is temporarily attached to a high chair tray or table, such as through suction cups or the like. The bib can be attached to the dish in a variety of different ways such that any food or drink that contacts the bib will roll off the bib and into the dish in order to prevent the spillage from falling into the wearer's lap. Further, the length of the bib retained within the device can be varied to accommodate any size individual.
