A resonant transformer connected between a ground terminal and elevated terminal draws current from the earth's electric field through a primary winding of the transformer. An impulse generator applies a high voltage impulse to the primary winding of the resonant transformer to cause current to flow from the ground terminal through the primary winding. The flow of current through the primary winding of the resonant transformer induces a current in the secondary winding, which may be converted and filtered to a usable form, e.g. 60 Hz AC or DC.

Power receiver for extracting power from electric field energy in the earth

A circuit is operative to extract electromagnetic wave energy from the ground via a resonant transformer in which resonance is triggered by electrical charge arcing across a spark gap. A center tap of the primary winding of the transformer is capacitively coupled to an electrode buried in the ground. In-rush current from the ground electrode is converted to a useful form (e.g., one- or three-phase 60 Hz AC) by a power conversion circuit connected to the secondary winding of the resonant transformer. The ground electrode of the capacitor coupling the grounded electrode to the center tap primary winding is the shield of a Faraday cage enclosing the resonant transformer, spark gap, and a high-voltage power supply exciting the spark gap.

The hydrosphere provides a natural wireless electric grid transporting energy through with a 7.5 Hz to 300 Hz bandpass. The hydrosphere grid eliminates the need for transmission lines and distribution lines operating at 50 Hz or 60 Hz worldwide. Global lightning return stroke current is sourced by the hydrosphere triggered by high voltage storm cloud conductivity. A power receiver extracts power from the Earth's hydrosphere, which serves as a current source for the power receiver. Water/moisture in the hydrosphere is conductive to ELF/SLF EM energy and functions as an electromagnetic spherical antenna that conducts broadband electromagnetic energy between 7.5 Hz and about 300 Hz. The power receiver comprises a resonant transformer that is electrically coupled to the earth's hydrosphere. The resonant transformer induces current flow from the Earth's hydrosphere. The power converts energy in ELF/SLF waves to useful form, e.g. 60 Hz AC or DC.

A sensor, such as an antenna, detects an electrical sinoatrial signal produced by the human heart. A spectrum analyzer then processes the electrical sinoatrial signal to generate a frequency spectrum comprising a plurality of frequency components associated with different organs. A diagnostic unit then analyzes the frequency spectrum and compares the frequency spectrum to a standardized normal spectrum to determine the condition of the organs. In particular, the amplitude and the bandwidth of the frequency components may be compared to the standardized normal spectrum. The system monitors the relationship between the electromagnetic energy of the heart, organs, limbs, and the brain.

A cardiac monitoring system easily incorporated into existing electronic digital wristwatches. The self-contained unit monitors the arterial pulse rate by means of a pair of highly directional ultrasonic transducers positioned in a special mounting in the wrist band of the watch. This special mounting also includes an integrated circuit which contains the transmitter and receiver-detector electronics for connection to the transducers. The output signal from the receiver in the special mount is fed via a shielded cable in the wrist band to the processing electronics physically located within the face mounting of the watch. The processing electronics monitors the user's pulse rate and provides a digital output indication thereof if it exceeds pre-established upper and lower threshold limits. The processing circuitry also includes means for detecting an erratic heartbeat, such as a missing pulse or other irregularities, and provides an output alarm indication, both audio and visual, when such is detected. The unit is entirely self-contained and utilizes the wristwatch's standard battery power supply. External select switches are preferably provided for selection of either a time or pulse rate readout.
