A head gear assembly that includes a shell; a facial protector connectively attached to the shell that further includes a first element; a second element positioned approximately parallel to the first element; a third and fourth element positioned approximately perpendicular to one or both of the first element and the second element; a gap further comprising a gap size defined by the position of a combination of at least two of the first element, the second element, the third element, and the fourth element, wherein the gap size is adjustable between a plurality of gap sizes, wherein the first element is movingly engaged with the second element, and wherein the first element moves freely from the second element as the gap size is adjusted.

Adjustable facial protector

A head gear assembly for protecting a user's head, the assembly having an upper head portion; a facial protector connectively attached to the upper head portion; and a movable armature for movable engagement to at least a portion of the facial protector, wherein engagement between the movable armature and the least a portion of the facial protector forms at least one gap a gap further comprising a gap size, and wherein the gap size is adjustable from a first size to a plurality of other sizes.

A method of adjusting an ocular gap size that includes donning a head gear assembly that further includes a rigid shell, and a facial protector connectively attached to the rigid shell further. The facial protector also includes an ocular gap having a gap size, such that the gap size is adjustable between a range of gap sizes. There is a plane defined by user's line of sight, wherein the line of sight remains unchanged when the gap size is adjusted, and adjusting the gap size to optimize the head gear performance.

A dish-cleaning appliance comprises a sink having a bowl defining a wash chamber with an open top for providing access to the wash chamber. A liquid recirculation system is provided for spraying liquid throughout the wash chamber. A drain conduit can be provided, alone or in combination with the recirculation system, for draining liquid from the wash chamber when the drain is closed. The lid is mounted to the sink and is movable to selectively cover the open top of the bowl and a user interface located in the sink.

User interface for an in-sink dishwasher

A dish-cleaning appliance comprising a sink defining a wash chamber with an open top for providing access to the wash chamber. A liquid recirculation system is provided for spraying liquid onto the dish rack to effect the cleaning of any dishes along the rack. The lid is mounted to the sink and is movable to selectively cover the open top of the bowl. A latch is provided to hold the lid in the closed position. The latch comprises a catch and a strike, with the strike having an integrated handle resulting in a small form factor.

A dish-cleaning appliance comprising a sink having a bowl defining a wash chamber with an open top for providing access to the wash chamber. A liquid recirculation system is provided for spraying liquid onto the dish rack to effect the cleaning of any dishes along the rack. The lid is mounted to the sink and is movable to selectively cover the open top of the bowl. The lid includes a sound absorber and a sound dampener for reducing the transfer of sound from the wash chamber through the lid.

Low-noise in-sink dishwasher

A dish-cleaning appliance comprising a sink having a bowl with an open top for providing access to the bowl. A rack for holding dishes is provided and is received within the bowl and a liquid recirculation system is provided for spraying liquid onto the dish rack to effect the cleaning of any dishes along the rack. The lid is mounted to the sink and is movable to selectively cover the open top of the bowl. A cutting board is positioned on top of the lid and a releasable coupling secures the cutting board to the lid to limit relative movement of the cutting board and the lid.

In-sink dishwasher with a cutting board

A latch assembly for a dishwasher door having a bolt secured to the door. The bolt has a catch including a ramp surface facing toward the tub. An actuator is slidably connected to the bolt. A switch is secured to the bolt such that movement of the actuator may selectively close the switch. A handle is moveably mounted to the bolt in a position for access from the front surface of the door. A strike plate is connected to the tub and includes a latching portion extending toward the door. The strike plate flexes vertically to deflect up over the latch when the door moves to the closed position. The strike plate may be released from the latch by moving the handle upwardly.
