Disclosed is a film composition for carbon paper and other uses wherein dispersion grade polyvinyl chloride resin is mixed with glycerin and other water soluble plasticizers and extended with water. Substitute plasticizers are ethylene glycol, low molecular weight polyglycols including di-ethylene glycol and tri-ethylene glycol, and polyether alcohols.

Water extended plastisol film carbon paper

An improved ink releasing member of the plastisol matrix type having a liquid ink supported within a matrix from which it is expressible on the application of pressure. The ink employs a liquid vehicle and a pigment dye or combination pigment and dye colorant material. The vehicle for the ink can be liquid polyglycol alone or a composite mixture of animal, vegetable, mineral, marine, or synthetic oily material along with a polyglycol. By using polyglycols in the liquid ink, the smoking and air pollution encountered in the manufacture of plastisol matrix ink releasing members is reduced while a product with higher color intensity and longer useful life is produced.

Ink transfer member

A continuous form mailer comprised of two overlying sheets of material secured together along peripheral side edges and having a transfer material interface enabling printing through the external ply onto the internal ply and being provided with an integral return envelope portion and detachably removable invoice-receipt portion and an insertable return stub material portion. The latter portions being integral with the second of the two overlying plies. The assembly being capable of being snapped apart to separate the envelope from the invoice-receipt and return stub portions.
