Thermal Management Systems for electronic devices and related methods are disclosed. An example electronic housing includes a housing defining a cavity, electronics in the cavity, and a touch display over the electronics. A heat spreader has a first surface toward the electronics and a second surface opposite the first surface toward the touch display, where the heat spreader is to dissipate heat generated by the electronics. A glass cover is coupled to the housing and has a first side toward the touch display and a second side opposite the first side, where the glass cover is exposed external to the housing. An insulation layer is between the second surface of the heat spreader and the second side of the glass cover to restrict heat transfer from the electronics to the second side of the glass cover.

Thermal management systems for electronic devices and related methods

Particular embodiments described herein provide for an electronic device that includes a liquid crystal display, a backlight for the liquid crystal display, a timing controller (TCON), and a display engine located outside of the TCON, where the display engine asynchronously sends image data to the TCON and backlight control data to the backlight.

The neural network circuit can also sample bit values for neighboring bits to the interested bit at multiple sampling locations across unit intervals for the neighboring bits. The neural network circuit can determine the value of the interested bit from the samples of the waveform.

The use of fusion-formed compounds of polyvalent cations with aluminate, alumino-borate and -ferrite anions has been found to provide improved clarification methods for settling aqueous suspensions of solids. The separation is carried out by bringing the spermatozoa into close association with an electrostatic charge-bearing material having a charge the sign of which is opposite to the sign of a chosen portion of the spermatozoa which carries the sex determining character of the unwanted sex, so as to attract and thereby to permit that portion to be isolated, or put to a disadvantage in the fertilization of ova. The invention is concerned with the selection of the charge-bearing material, the adjustment of the pH and particle size thereof, and the control of the surrounding medium in relation to its influence on the charge characteristics of both the charge-bearing material and the spermatozoa.

Reagents can be provided in more convenient and readily-utilizable forms by converting the basic desired reagent material into a shapeable solid using gelation techniques (i.e., a non-crystalizing solidification process) for the fluids that are carriers and/or vehicles for the reagent. The resulting solidified gel product can be shaped as desired or needed into such practically useful forms as ribbons, tablets, capsules, pellets, etc. The gelled reagent materials are oftentimes more storeable and have markedly increased shelf-lives over the same reagents, per se, in ungelled form. Additionally, the gelled reagent materials possibilitate very much simplified proportioning, measuring out or supply of desired tare of the reagent material itself by the easy expedient, depending on the shape utilized of the solidified gelled reagent material involved, of depending upon mere number count in the case of pellets, tablets or the like or length of material in the case of ribbon, wire or the like according to the predetermined assay of reagent in any given physical unit of the shaped gelled reagent material. This, as a great convenience and with optimum accuracy, obviates the weighing or otherwise measuring out by normal techniques of the reagent material itself as it is done in conventional practice. The gelled reagent materials react freely and in the expectable way when put in a given reaction mass or material being tested or processed upon disruption of the gel when placed therein giving rise to release of the reagent, per se.
