A self-supporting, confined space entry mobile unit for supplying the necessary equipment for permit-required confined space entries. The self-supporting, confined space entry mobile unit includes a trailer assembly having a frame, a flat bed having a front, back, and sides and being securely mounted upon the frame, wheeled axles upon which the frame is securely mounted, a tongue securely attached to and extending forward of the frame, and a hitch connecting member securely attached to the tongue for hitching to a prime mover; and also including an air evacuation assembly including an air evacuation unit securely mounted upon the flat bed; and further including an air supply assembly contained upon the flat bed for providing breathable air to users; and also including a storage assembly securely mounted upon the flat bed; and further including emergency use equipment including a fire extinguisher and a carbon monoxide detector being stored in the storage assembly; and also including a light-emitting assembly disposed upon the flat bed.

Self-supporting, confined space entry mobile unit

A mouthpiece filter for a container that includes an outer thread on the neck of the container. The filter includes an elongated filter member removably and coaxially mounted within the container and press fit to a cap housing that in turn is mounted to the container. The filter member includes an inlet end and an outlet end. The outlet end includes a mouth piece termination that is press fit through a centrally disposed tubular member on top of a cylindrical housing with a internal thread. A shoulder at the outlet end is cooperatively received by a counterbore adjacent to the centrally disposed opening on the internal surface of the upper wall.

This invention relates to a trailer drawn by a tractor vehicle which includes the combination of a rear and belly dump and in which the trailer rear wheel assembly remains entirely on the ground when the means for elevating the trailer for rear dump is made, including means for permitting the material to be dumped to directly dump beyond the wheels of the trailer, and further, to permit the trailer wheels and the tractor wheels to be moved close together during rear dump for purposes of distribution of the material and further to include a clean-out door for dislodging material which may have been stuck during dumping operation.

A device to filter water having a tubular housing with seven chambers therein divided by dividing members and filter screens. The first chamber includes a granular activated carbon filtering medium, the second chamber includes a mixed bed ion exchange resin filter medium, the third chamber being empty, the fourth chamber includes an iodinated filtering medium, the fifth chamber includes a granular activated carbon filtering medium, the sixth chamber has an anion exchange resin filtering medium and the seventh chamber, being adjacent to the sixth chamber and to the outlet port, includes a carbon filtering medium. A device to filter water having a tubular housing with five chambers therein divided by filter members. The first chamber includes a granular activated carbon filtering medium, the second chamber includes an iodinated anion resin filter medium, the third chamber being empty, the fourth ion includes an anion exchange filtering medium, and the fifth chamber includes a granular activated carbon filtering medium. A faucet adapter is removably connected to the source of water and it is designed to limit the water pressure applied to the device.

A simplified glove donning device to inflate and detect pinhole size leaks in elastic gloves using no internal or external energy sources. The device may be mounted to any flat surface. Glove donning cylinders (100) hold elastic gloves securely in place and forms an air tight seal between cylinder (100) and elastic glove. When a hand is inserted into the cylinder (100), sealed with an elastic glove, air in the cylinder is forced out through a one-way check valve (400). When the hand is retracted slightly or fully, the elastic glove is pulled into the cylinder (100) by the vacuum developed below the glove, thus, it expands larger than a hand. The user may then insert a hand friction free and disengages the glove from the cylinder (100) by rolling the cuff up and off the upper edge (130) of the cylinder (100). When the air tight seal is broken, the glove deflates rapidly and conforms to the shape of the hand with no air pockets at the finger tips. If the vacuum indicator (500) indicates a loss of vacuum in the cylinder (100), the glove may have a hole through which bodily fluids can pass.

Device to apply elastic gloves

A water filtering device connected to a low water pressure supply and having a housing with an inlet and an outlet for the water being filtered. The housing has four chambers plus a water collecting chamber that are abutting to each other and separated by baffles that each include a screened window member. Different filtering media are contained, in a predetermined order, inside the chambers and through which the water is slowly forced.

Phenol/aldehyde condensation products useful in the development of colored images from colorless dyes are disclosed. The phenol/aldehyde condensation products are produced by the interaction of an alkyl-substituted salicylic acid, an alkyl-substituted phenol, an aldehyde, and a metal source. The phenol/aldehyde condensation products are particularly useful in a photosensitive imaging system in which images are formed by the image-wise reaction of the developer with one or more chromogenic materials, and in carbonless copy paper systems.

A process is provided for the recovery of one or more useful products including fertilizer, animal feed supplements, iron oxide, magnesia, salt, purified brine, and purified water from brines. The source of the brines can be oil and gas field wastes, seawater or effluent from a seawater desalination plant, or other inland brine sources. Iron and magnesium are initially precipitated from the brine. Then phosphoric acid is added to the brine followed by an alkaline agent to produce precipitates useful as fertilizer and animal feed supplements. The remaining salt in the brine may then be removed and recovered along with purified water.

A tackifier system which includes the reaction product of oxirane bearing materials with alkyl phenol novolacs for elastomers of alpha-olefin polymers which are sulfur curable. The invention is directed to reaction products of alkyl phenol novolacs with oxirane bearing materials. The reaction products of alkyl phenol novolacs with oxirane bearing materials have been found to be excellent tackifiers for various types of elastomers. Further, the invention is directed to elastomer compositions containing reaction products of alkyl phenol novolacs with oxirane bearing materials. Elastomer compositions containing the reaction products of alkyl phenol novolac resins with oxirane bearing materials exhibit excellent tack properties. Tackifiers are employed in elastomeric compositions to produce wider practical ranges of elastomer properties, such as stiffness and tack. Tackifiers are used to improve adhesion, and sometimes cohesion without necessarily stiffening or softening the elastomer composition. The tackifiers of the invention are particularly useful in elastomer products which require green tack in their construction. These elastomers include hydrocarbon or hydrocarbon-acrylonitrile, or halohydrocarbon elastomers. Normally-solid elastomers which are alpha-olefin (e.g. monoolefin or diolefin) hydrocarbon polymers which are sulfur curable are becoming increasingly important for producing a variety of useful products. For broader application, however, such elastomers must be adapted to have excellent tack properties. For various applications, it is desirable that elastomers have good tack properties prior to curing, in that for bonding purposes it is desirable that the tack property is sufficient to allow the elastomer to bond, on contact, with a force which is sufficiently high to oppose delaminating forces appearing during the fabrication of elastomer products, but low enough to permit clean separation prior to cure if the need arises. The invention is directed to tackifiers utilized as tire stock tackifiers, cement tackifiers and tackifiers for any rubber application requiring green tack. Examples of rubber products which require good green tack in their construction include tires, belts and hoses.
