Methods of making a semiconductor device packages may involve placing a metal material at least partially around a region of integrated circuitry embedded within an active surface of a semiconductor die, the metal material located on the active surface. At least a portion of the metal material may be left electrically disconnected from the region of integrated circuitry. The semiconductor die and the metal material may be encapsulated in an encapsulant material, the encapsulant material extending to a height above the active surface higher than a maximum height of the metal material above the active surface.

Toeboard support bracket

A versatile handrail and toeboard safety system that provides flexible solutions for the implementation of improved construction site safety barriers using a specialized bracket to mount standard wooden members. The bracket of the handrail and toeboard safety system is formed of multiple parallel plates in various arrangements creating spaces to receive and secure wooden construction members as a handrail for personnel safety in addition to a toeboard for equipment and materiel safety. Multiple embodiments of the bracket provide for expeditious setup and removal of system for setup and removal of personnel and equipment safety barriers from most construction sites.

Construction safety handrail and toeboard system

A versatile handrail and toeboard safety system that provides flexible solutions for the implementation of improved construction site safety barriers using specialized brackets to mount standard wooden members. The brackets of the handrail and toeboard safety system is formed of multiple orthogonally arranged plates creating spaces to receive and secure wooden construction members as a handrail for personnel safety in addition to a toeboard for equipment and materiel safety. The parallel plates are formed with several mounting points for wooden members and several mounting points for anchoring the bracket to a base floor. The brackets are formed to withstand a minimum two-hundred (200) pound force exerted at the top of a forty-five (45) inch tall handrail attached to the anchored bracket. The brackets provide the versatility to be used in various system arrangements and the expeditious setup and removal of the handrail and toeboard safety system.

A spray hood assembly for containing the spray mist of pesticides or other liquid agricultural chemicals in an application area as the pesticide or other liquid is applied to soil or vegetation. In a preferred embodiment, the spray hood assembly includes an elongated hood characterized by a selected number of arcuate hood segments attached to each other in end-to-end relationship and mounted on a trailer hitched to a tractor or other towing vehicle. As the suspended hood migrates over soil or vegetation, the pesticide or other liquid is sprayed into the hood. Air intake openings in the front of the hood segments permit entry of turbulent air which promotes mixing of the air and sprayed mist inside the hood and substantially uniform application of the mist to the soil or vegetation within the confines of the hood. In a preferred embodiment, a mist curtain extends downwardly from the curved front and rear panels of the adjacent hood segments for enhancing confinement of the mist in the hood during application.

Spray hood assembly

A cover for closing a divided chemical dispensing container or hopper mounted on agricultural chemical-dispensing equipment. The cover closes the top of the hopper and includes a shim that seats on the divider that divides the interior of the hopper into two compartments of approximately equal size. The hopper cover is removably mounted on the top of the hopper and engages the slotted divider shim seated on the divider, to enclose the granular chemical contents of the hopper. In a preferred embodiment the hopper cover is characterized by a conventional first opening which communicates with one of the hopper compartments designed to contain a toxic chemical such as a granular insecticide. A hinged cover opens on a raised cover lip extending from the hopper cover to access a second cover opening that communicates with the opposite compartment, typically containing a granular, non-toxic fungicide. The hopper cover is fitted with a perimeter seal for sealing the perimeter of the cover on the hopper and with a divider seal for sealing the divider shim and isolating the toxic granules from the non-toxic granules inside the hopper when the hopper cover is placed on the hopper.

A tube alignment bracket for mounting on or shaped integrally with the seed distribution tube of a seed planter to align multiple planter insecticide tubes in close proximity to, and in a vertical plane with, the discharge opening of the seed distribution tube and insure that liquid insecticide or fungicide dispensed through the insecticide tubes are deposited in a furrow in close proximity to seeds expelled from the seed distribution tube. In a preferred embodiment the tube alignment bracket is characterized by an elongated, I beam-shaped leg plate strengthened by a pair of braces, one end of which leg plate extends from a bracket plate which is slotted and is strapped to or formed integrally with the seed distribution tube. The leg plate is fitted with at least one pair of openings or a slot to receive and position the insecticide tubes in close, fixed proximity with respect to the discharge opening of the seed distribution tube.

A tube alignment spacer bracket for mounting on a tube alignment bracket which is, in turn, mounted on or shaped integrally with the seed distribution tube of a seed planter, to align the planter insecticide tube or tubes in close proximity to, and in a vertical plane with, the discharge opening of the seed distribution tube and insure that liquid insecticide or fungicide dispensed through the insecticide tube or tubes is deposited in a furrow in close proximity to seeds expelled from the seed distribution tube. In a preferred embodiment the tube alignment spacer bracket is characterized by a Z-shaped bracket having a pair of slots, one of which receives one end of a tube alignment bracket fitted with a tube mount and the opposite slot of which receives one or more tube fittings, to which are attached one or more insecticide tubes. The tube alignment spacer bracket is oriented to position the insecticide tube or tubes in close, fixed proximity with respect to the discharge opening of the seed distribution tube.

The tube mount is oriented to receive and position the insecticide tube in close, fixed proximity with respect to the discharge opening of the seed distribution tube.
