A method and apparatus for a seat post assembly that is adjustable to an upper, intermediate, and lower seat post position using a locking member and a sleeve member coupled to an actuator for securing and releasing an inner tube with respect to an outer tube. The actuator may move the sleeve member to release the locking member from engagement with the outer tube to adjust the inner tube and thus the seat post assembly to the upper, intermediate, or lower seat post positions. The actuator and the sleeve may be biased into an initial position that urges the locking member into engagement with outer tube to lock the inner tube to the outer tube.

The disclosure provides a fixing assembly for a bicycle rear derailleur including a mount seat, a fastener, a resistance applying component and a resistance controlling component. The mount seat has a through hole and an annular inner surface forming the through hole. The fastener is disposed through the through hole. The fastener has a threaded portion and a recess. The threaded portion is configured to be screwed into a bicycle frame to fix the mount seat. The resistance applying component is disposed on the fastener and located between the annular inner surface and the recess. The resistance controlling component is disposed on the recess of the fastener, and the resistance controlling component is movable towards the threaded portion along an axial direction of the fastener so as to force the resistance applying component to radially move outwards to press against the annular inner surface of the mount seat.

A shift operating device includes a frame body, a cable spool assembly, a first elastic component, an upshift lever, a driving pawl, a positioning pawl, a movable component, and a downshift lever. The cable spool assembly is disposed on the frame body. The first elastic component can force the cable spool assembly to rotate along a first direction. The upshift lever can rotate the cable spool assembly along a second direction by the driving pawl. The positioning pawl is disposed on the frame body and engaged with the cable spool assembly. The movable component is linearly and movably disposed on the frame body and in contact with the positioning pawl. The downshift lever is disposed on the frame body and in contact with the movable component. When the downshift lever is pivoted, the downshift lever forces the movable component to detach the positioning pawl from the cable spool assembly.

The pressing part extends radially outwardly from the pivot part. The first engagement member is pivoted to the pivot part and pressed by the pressing part. The second engagement member is engageable with the first engagement member so that the first engagement member is only rotatable with respect to the second engagement member in a rotatable direction.

A gear shift arrangement for a bicycle that is separate and distinct from a brake lever of the bicycle, in which the bicycle has a derailleur and a derailleur cable associated therewith, includes a single lever adapted to only perform a shifting operation of gears of the bicycle, a housing, a mounting arrangement in the housing for mounting the single lever for movement in a first pivoting direction and for movement in a second substantially linear direction, and a shift control mechanism in the housing for controlling shifting of the gears of the bicycle in a first shifting direction upon movement of the single lever in the first pivoting direction and for controlling shifting of gears of the bicycle in a second, opposite shifting direction upon movement of the single lever in the second substantially linear direction.

The present invention relates to a packaging concept includes a tubular wall member and end caps. The packaging is constructed from a sheet of flexible material wrapped into a continuous wall and fastened at the ends of the sheet material leaving open tube ends. The open ends of the tube are then closed by an end cap. The end caps are each formed from a continuous blank of sheet material. The blank includes at least three aligned cap layers. The first and second cap layers are adjacent to each other and connected by a tab connector. Each of the first and second cap layers also includes a plurality of bendable support tabs and each of the first and second cap layers includes a plurality of spaces between adjacent respective bendable support tabs. The first cap layer is folded relative to the second cap layer such that the support tabs of the first cap layer enter the spaces of the second cap layer and the support tabs of the second cap layer enter the spaces of the first cap layer. The first and second cap layers are smaller than the open tube ends and the third and fourth cap layers are larger than the open tube ends. Therefore, the first and second cap layers enter the open tube ends and the third and fourth cap layers abut the open tube ends to provide cap that can be secured to the tubular wall member by an adhesive product.
